THANA’s P.O.V
“Come on Eva… please teach me witch magic…” I pleaded. Eva is the crone of the daylight witches under our coven. She is one of our protector in the mansion.
“I said no!” she immediately rejected my request. Actually, I’ve been asking her for several times but she always say NO to me.
“But why Eva? You have to tell me…”
“Thana my princess… a vampire is a vampire and a witch is a witch! I am nobody to make a move of combining it. Especially you!!! You are the heiress of this coven.” She explained.
“That’s why I need to learn witch magic. It will make me stronger! Powerful!”
“You have you own magic and power Thana. Give it a rest. This will be the last time that you will open it up or I will tell your father about it.”
“Is there something that I need to know?” my father came out from nowhere. He is smiling but for all I know he is very dangerous.
“Nothing… nothing father…”
“Eva?” my father asked her. She can’t lie to him. I’m busted.
“Okay! Okay! I’m asking her to teach me some witch magic… witchcraft!”
“And why?”
“Power! Strength!”
“That is the very reason why we have witches and warlocks in our clan… Eva, I need you to pick one of your powerful witches. He will accompany Thana starting today.”
“Bodyguard? By why father? I already have Candice with me.” I protested. I don’t like the feeling of being guarded all the time.
“I will recommend my niece Elle. She is well equipped and very much capable in protecting our princess.” Eva said.
“Very good. Summon her at once.”
“Yes Alexander.”
“But father…”
“No more but nut Thana…” he vanished.
“Don’t worry my dear… You will surely love Elle…” Eva trying to assure me that everything will be fine.
“I am pretty sure we will click together since she is your niece but… arggghhhh never mind. I need to go to school now… Candice let’s go!!!!”
ALEXANDER P.O.V
I know she will be furious with my decision of giving her a witch companion, but I have to. When it comes to protection, there is no better than a witch! And she needs to be protected this time.
“Alexander what’s the situation?” Nicholai asked. He is one of my strongest noble vampires.
“You are in need of a guardian witch for Thana… Tell us…” Yoko asking for an explanation.
“One of our spies told me that the black coven is now making a move. They are teaming up with the black wolves and black witches. They are eyeing on Thana.
“They have the guts!!! Alexander, I will convene all the day light witches and warlocks in this case and we will assure the safety of the entire coven!” Eva said. The crone of all the witches has spoken. Protection is now given.
“Thank you Eva… With this, I am expecting every single vampire in our coven to exercise some precautions. We must not be defeated by them!!!!” I will not bow down on the black coven. They are monsters! Low life monster!
CANDICE P.O.V
I’m keeping up with Thana right now. She’s in a bad mood. Her father- Alexander, has decided to add one more guardian. It hurt’s my ego, but upon knowing she’s a witch… hands up. Witches are very good in defense. So no further question about it.
But Thana, she seems upset about the whole idea and I don’t know why.
“Wait up! Tell me, why are you so against about your father’s idea? It’s for your own good!”
“Well… I don’t have anything against it BUT I would like to insist my idea of learning witchcraft Candice. I really wanted to cast a spell against those monsters!” she replied while waving her hand on the air as if she’s holding a wand.
“What? Just for that? Look, you are no witch! You are a vampire! Remember that! You don’t need spell Thana. You can discharge a ball of fire or water with your hands. You can even summon a whirlwind if you like…” I still have a lot of stuff to say but…
“Wolves….” Thana also sensed their presence.
“Black wolves…” she whispered.
“They are not going to attack us here right?”
“I’m looking for them Candice…” then Thana set her eyes on someone. A black wolf on a human form. But how? They cannot smell us since were using a special perfume from Eva. And nobody see’s Thana’s photos. I mean, Alexander has made sure that no one will identify her one and only daughter… well aside from the vampire and witches in the mansion.
We are in big trouble now. We need to run and go to a place where no human can see us fighting. Thana can surely read my mind… so we are now ready to run…when a girl stood between Thana and the wolf. She’s not familiar. She’s chanting or something. A witch? Elle? Then couple of seconds after, the wolf just turns around. They are all moving away from us.
“They won’t remember your faces now. We must inform your father about it. Supposedly, your face is unseen.” She said.
“Elle Swoyen?” Thana uttered.
“Got it right. And you must be Candice? Nice to meet you two.”
“Yeah… same here. We totally need a witch Thana.” I said as I get my phone. I need to report it to Alexander. While talking to him, Elle and Thana are chatting. Getting to know each other. But I know what’s on Thana’s mind. If she can’t get Eva as her mentor in witchcraft, she will try to persuade Elle on that matter.
