Chapter 4 *Teaser*

It had seemed that I had just closed my eyes before I was awoken from my attempted sleep by the loud noise of shattering glass. Startled, I bolted upright. Sweat dripped down the back of my neck. I heard footsteps padding on the wooden floorboards downstairs.'Stay calm, Matt. Stay calm' I thought to myself as I shakily tried to be quiet. It seemed like something, or someone, had broken into my house. And they didn't sound friendly. Slowly, but surely, the footsteps were progressing up the stairs, and towards my room. I began to panic. Suddenly, the footsteps sped up. I quickly grabbed my IPhone off the nightstand and dove into the closet, just as the intruder flung open my bedroom door. I held my breath as I heard the heavy breathing of the 'robber'. It didn't sound right. Carefully, I scootched forward a bit so that I could peer through the cracks of my closet door to try and get a look at my assailant. I gulped. He.....'It'... Didn't look human. It paced the room, muttering what sounded like a plentiful assortment of curse words under its breath as it searched for what I was assuming was me. It was a fully white humanoid looking creature. It pretty much looked exactly like a real human, but it's white skin, facial features, and strange singular 'hair', gave it away as anything but. At first, I thought that aliens had invaded. It muttered some more, but this time, it was more legible. It had said something about 'robots'. It had a VERY deep voice. Wait.....robots? I gasped. Google and Jack! Were they okay? My sudden inhalation startled the beast, and it spun around to face the closet that I was currently panicking in. It proceeded to continue to walk forward. 'I am going to die! I am going to die!' I thought as it reached out its white hand. Just as it grasped the fake golden doorknob and began to turn it, a black figure collided with its side! ((Cliffhanger!!))
