Tommy's POV

Holy shit! I just knocked her out! She could be dead! I rushed over to her and shifted into my human form.

"Karma. Karma wake up!" I tried shaking her, but it was no use. The side of her head had a nasty gash that was oozing blood.

"Get them out of here!" I motioned to Brett.

"No way! She's our mate, were not leaving her!" They refused.

"Well she's our mate too. You won't be able to control yourselves." Before they could respond, I picked her up and put her in the car. I stepped on the gas and sped to the hospital.

Karma's POV

I woke up to darkness. I tried screaming, but nothing came out. I tried moving, but I felt like I was trapped under a pile of cement. I could hear male voices.

"Is she going to be ok?"

"Yes, but right now she is in a coma. She might not wake up for a while."

"Oh god, this is all my fault."

I recognized the voices as Jackson and Tommy. I believe the other was a doctor. I heard the door close and footsteps come closer to me. I felt the bed shift a little, so I guess someone sat down. I tried so desperately to move or talk, but I was frozen.

"I am so sorry. This is all my fault." I heard Tommy say. Then I felt something wet hit my hand. I opened my eyes.

"T-Tommy?" I managed to say hoarsely.

"Karma! You're awake! Thank God!" He came and hugged me.

"Y-yeah where am I and what happened?" I asked.

"I kinda knocked you into a wall and you blacked out. You're in a hospital."

"Ugh. My head hurts." My head felt like a million hammers were banging on my skull.

"O-oh ill get the doctor." He rushed out and a minute later a man in his early 40s came in.

"Hello Katy, how are you feeling?"

"You can just call me Karma. I'm fine minus the extreme pain in my head." I laughed a little.

"Well we had to give you stitches. That gash was pretty bad. But you're fine. We gave you some pain medicine, so it should settle in any time now." He informed me. "You will be able to leave tomorrow. We are just going to keep you overnight to see if there's anything wrong." He smiled before walking out.

"Sup Karma! I didn't know what flavor you would want, so I got every flavor they had!" Tommy came in with a hundred ice cream tubs.

"Wow Tommy! Um thank you?" It came out more as a question. He set the tubs in front of me and I opened one. Cookie dough. My favorite.

"Oh! I also got you these." He pulled out a box of chocolates, get well balloons, and stuffed animals.

"Tommy, thank you! But you didn't have to do all this." I laughed.

He blushed. "But I wanted to." He whispered loud enough for me to hear.

"Where's everyone else?" I asked.

He growled. "Jackson is in the waiting room and everyone else is at home."

"So why did you guys break out into a full on mafia?" I asked, stuffing my face with ice cream.

"Well," he grabbed a tub of mint chip ice cream, "you know how you're their mate?" He asked, nervously. I nodded. "Well, you're kinda our mate too." He said, sheepishly.
