Chapter 24- Turned

Drunk Guy's POV

I slowly opened my eyes to blinding sunlight. My head was throbbing like crazy. What happened? The events of yesterday slowly flooded my mind. I remember crying over Karma and drinking away the pain. I stumbled out of the bar, drunk as hell. I saw a very sexy girl approach me. She looked like Karma. She took me to the alley beside the bar and sunk her teeth into my neck. I felt pleasure all over. She dropped me to the ground and left in a flash. After she left, pain entered my whole body. I blacked out because of all the pain. now I'm here. Wait. If she bit me, then that means-

"Drew?" I heard a familiar voice say. I turned my head to see Dustin and two of my best guards. They rushed to my side.

"Where have you been?! What happened?!" Dustin asked frantically.

"I'm fine. Just a hangover." I reassured him. He reluctantly nodded and helped me up.

Do I dare tell him what happened?

Sebastian's POV

"Guys! Major problem!" I rushed into the living room, where all the guys were being stupid as usual. They turned their heads to me and paused in their awkward positions. I raised an eyebrow. They fumbled out of their positions and sat on the couch.

"Drew is a hybrid." I said frantically. Damon stood up.

"What? How did that happen?!" his eyes turned black.

"I don't know. But now he's even more powerful and harder to kill."

Karma's POV

Ah that guy tasted sweet. But I can't help but feel like I've seen him before and feel slightly attracted to him. Oh well. I headed back to the flat to change out of my old clothes. As I walked through the door, the boys were all scrambling in the kitchen. Harry was flipping pancakes and Niall and Louis were wrestling for a piece of toast.

"Um hey guys." I waved awkwardly. they mumbled 'Hey', but payed no attention to me. Gee thanks. I walked to my room and slipped on a some sweats. Niall swung open the door as I was slipping on my shirt.

"Niall!" I scorned. He didn't say anything and just stared. Boys. I quickly slipped on my shirt and fixedly hair.

"Yes Niall?" I asked, crossing my arms. He shook his head.

"Oh right. Um, I was just wondering if we were still on for our date tonight?" He rubbed the back of his neck. I shouldn't break my promise with the boys. Brett and I can hang later. Oh shit! Sebastian was supposed to take me out for lunch! I quickly dialed his number.

Ring.

Ring.

Ring.

No answer. Damn! I completely forgot Niall was in the room until he cleared his throat.

"Oh um, sorry Niall. Yup defiantly still on for tonight." I smiled. He grinned.

"Great! Be ready at 6." With that, he walked off. Sebastian said 12:00 pm and it's already 11:30. Wow I better get ready then. I dug through my closet, trying to find a suitable outfit. He didn't say where so that was hard. I finally decided on a baby blue turtleneck sweater and a leather black skirt. I slipped on cream colored tights and black combat boots. I had just enough time to curl my hair. I plugged in my curler and started on my makeup. Just some natural eyeshadow and mascara. I decided to add a little color and put some baby pink lipstick on. Perfect! I grabbed my phone only because he said I wouldn't need a purse. I opened the door and I saw Niall sneaking a pancake while Harry and Zayn argued.

"Bye guys! Ill be back by 5!" I called. As I opened the door, Liam stopped me.

"Wait where are you going? We barely see you anymore." He pouted. That was true. But I had no time, it was already 11:50.

"Don't worry. Hey! we should all go camping for Christmas!" I suggested. Their eyes lit up.

"Great!" They chorused. I waved and shut the door. I ran down the street and to Sebastian's flat. I knocked on the door. Jackson opened it.

"Well hello there gorgeous." He eyes me. I pursed my lips together and narrowed my eyes. Sebastian was pacing in the living room with the others. They all stopped to look at me.

"Oh hey Karma! What are you doing here?" Tommy asked. Sebastian and Brett stood up.

"She's here to see me." They both said at the exact same time. They glared at each other. I smiled sheepishly.

"Um well actually, Im here for our date, Sebastian." I said. He had a confused look on his face before his eyes widened.

"Oh crap! Im so sorry! I totally forgot! Um j-just wait here w-while I get ready!" He sprinted down the hall and into his room.

"I thought we were spending the day together." Brett pouted.

"I feel so bad Brett. I promise well hang out soon, but I can't break my promises." I stuck out my pinky and he took it. I smiled. Sebastian came out, SnapBack on sideways, pants half way down, and shirt unbuttoned.

"I'm ready!" He said.

"Are you sure?" I chuckled. The guys burst out laughing and rolled on the floor. He looked down.

"Aw man!" He fumbled with his belt and fixed his hat and shirt. He grabbed his keys and put his arm around my shoulder. The guys growled and I rolled my eyes. They really needed to get over this.

"C'mon guys, get over it already." I chuckled. Sebastian led me to his car and drove off.

"So where are you taking me?" I started jumping around in my seat.

"Whoa calm down! Its a surprise." He chuckled evilly. I pouted. We pulled up in front of a large building. There were families walking in and out of it. Sebastian grabbed my hand and dragged me inside. An old woman sat cheerfully at her desk, handing brochures out to families.

"Brenda!" Sebastian hugged her.

"Sebastian! You're so big!" The old woman hugged back. Her eyes landed on me.

"Oh is this your mate?" She asked, smiling. So she knows.

"Yup. This is Karma." I stepped forward.

"Nice to meet you." I hugged her gently.

"You too darling. Sebastian is a very lucky man. He's been waiting forever for his mate." She told me. I looked at Sebastian and he blushed.

"It was nice seeing you again Brenda, but we must be off." Sebastian said.

"Have fun!" She handed us a brochure. I looked at it. It said 'Cali Aquarium' on it.

"An aquarium?!" I squealed excitedly.

"Yup. And I have another surprise." He smirked. We walked up to the first exhibit: Jellyfish. Sebastian took a lot of pictures of me with the baby jellies. We moved on the aquatic birds. I made derp faces at the penguins and I saw a flash.

"Sebastian!" I tried grabbing the camera, he was taller than me.

"Nope! I'm keeping that one." He laughed harder at my pout. I saw the sea lions swimming. I ran over to the tank. I could see the divers swimming around. It looked so fun. One sea lion put its flipper up to the glass in front of me. I put my hand up to the glass so it looked like our hands were touching. I smiled.

"Aw he likes you." Sebastian teased. My stomach growled.

"Hungry?"

"Yup." Sebastian covered my eyes and led me into an elevator, I think. Once the elevator opened, I could hear the waves crashing and seagulls squawking. He removed his hands to reveal we were on a grassy cliff that overlooked the ocean. There was a nice picnic made on it. He led me to the blanket and we watched the whales.

"Oooh! Look at that one!" Sebastian pointed to a baby whale.

"Aww it's so cute!" I cooed. We finished up and started packing everything.

"Ready for surprise #2?" He asked. I slowly nodded my head. He covered my eyes again. We hopped in an elevator but, this time we went up to the very top. He uncovered my eyes as I stared into a giant tank. I was confused at first but, then Sebastian held up a diving suit. My eyes widened in fear. What if I get stuck? What if I can't breathe? What if-

"Karma it'll be fine. Ill be next to you the whole time." He reassured me. Oh right. He can read minds. I slipped into my diving suit and Sebastian helped me with my oxygen tank. I sat on the edge of the tank. He gave me a thumbs up and I reluctantly gave him one back. I took a deep breathe and jumped in. Bubbles surrounded me and so did sea life. Sea lions twirled and danced around me. Little kids waved at me and giggled. Soon, Sebastian jumped in with a bucket of food for the sea lions. He handed me a piece and I fed it to the sea lion I saw earlier. We played around with the sea lions until Sebastian tapped his wrist, meaning it was time to get out. We waved to the children as we began to swim up. We finally reached the top and I took off my oxygen mask.

"See? Wasn't as bad as you thought huh?" Sebastian smirked. I chuckled. The sun was beginning to set. I checked my watch. 5:25. Niall!

"Dammit! Why do I forget things?" I quickly I hopped out of the tank and dried myself off.

"Hey can you drop me off at my place?" I asked.

"Sure." Once we were dry, we sprinted to the car. The car could not have gone any slower. 5:45. No time for a shower. I probably smell like fish. We finally arrived and I mumbled a thank you. Before he could reply, I slammed the door. I fumbled with the keys and ran to my room. I found a light green skater dress and brown heels. My hair was all tangled and looked like crap. I struggled to brush out the knots. I took off all my makeup and debated over whether I should wear my new SnapBack or not. He didn't say if it was formal or not. I decided I should wear it. Just as I opened my bedroom door, Niall stood at my doorway.

"You look great." He said. He was wearing a casual tank top and shorts. His hair was styled in a quiff. I liked it that way. I smiled and he grabbed my hand. He leaned in and whispered in my ear.

"Why do you smell like fish?"

My eyes widened and my face turned red. Niall burst out laughing.

"It's not funny! I had no time to take a shower and I swam with fish." I pouted. He kissed my cheek.

"Don't pout Princess. I like your smile better." I smiled at that. We walked outside, where a motorcycle and two helmets sat.

"What is that?"

"Our ride." He smirked.

"No way in hell am I getting on that!" I crossed my arms. He walked over and started leaning in. I leaned a little bit back. Them he slammed a helmet on my head.

"Owww! You loser!" I rolled my eyes and sat behind him on the motorcycle.

"Hold on." I quickly wrapped my arms around his waist as he sped off. As we came to a stoplight, a gang of guys on motorcycles came up on both sides.

"Nice girl you got there Horan." A guy will golden hair said.

"Fuck off Blake." Niall hissed.

"How about a little competition? If you win, you keep the girl and we 'fuck off'. But, if I win, I get the girl." He smirked, eyeing me. Eye rape!!!! If there was police inside my head, I would be screaming 'rape' right now. His smirk made me feel uneasy.

"She's not for sale." Niall said.

"Well I guess I'll just have to take her from you." The light turned green and we all sped off at the same time. Blake came awfully close to our bike and two other bikes came on our right.

"Niall watch out!" I screamed. There was a food truck blocking the road and if we didn't stop we would crash. This made him speed up. The hell? We're going to die! Just as I thought we would crash, we were lifted into the air. I opened my eyes to see we had gone up a ramp. Now it's just the landing part that's a problem. How are we going to survive? We are so high up, there's no way we can make it. The wheel of the bike hit the ground with a thud but, we were still alive. I looked behind me to see that Blake and his gang were gone. I sighed in relief. Niall pulled up in front of Nando's.

"Was that cool or what?" Niall laughed.

"Only you Niall, only you could manage to do that and then pull up to Nando's." I rolled my eyes but, in my head I was laughing my ass off. Niall opened the door for me like a gentleman. The young girl at the counter was to busy eye raping Niall to check our reservations.

"Horan, table for two." Niall said.

"Right this way." She said seductively. She shook her hips as she lead us to our table. I made gagging sounds and pretended to throw up at Niall. He silently chuckled. I got in the booth first and Niall followed. She bent down, making sure to show cleavage, as she handed Niall his menu, while she practically through mine at me.

"If you need anything, my name is Macy." She bounced her butt as she walked away.

"Yeah like a prostitute." I scoffed. Niall burst out laughing. I looked over my menu and decided that ill just have a Greek salad. Damn I eat a lot of salad! Soon enough, Macy, or 'the Prostitute', came back. Like it? Catchy, I know. She brought us waters but, I swear she poisoned it. Luckily, I always carry a bottle of water in my bag.

"What can I get you?" She practically sat on his lap.

"Ill have the BBQ chicken and she'll have the Greek salad." Niall completely ignored her. She glared at me and walked away.

"She'll poison your food for sure." Niall said.

"I'm pretty sure she poisoned my water." I said with a serious face. The prostitute came back with our food and I inspected it. Seems fine. I checked to see if Macy was watching and sure enough, she was.

"Um no thank you." I pushed my plate away. Niall took the bowl of salad he got and handed it to me.

"Aw thanks Ni." I took a bite out of the salad. After we finished, waiters brought out a whole cart of dessert.

"You bought all this?" I breathed.

"Yup. Someone as sweet as you deserves something sweet." He said.

"That was so cheesy." I laughed.

"Yeah I know." Niall took a bite out of some cheesecake. I grabbed the chocolate cake and savored every bite. It was like heaven in my mouth. Once we finished every dessert we rode home. This time, no Blake. When we got home, the boys were all asleep. I walked into my room to change into my pjs. Niall came into my room.

"Good night Karma." He kissed my forehead.

"Stay?" I asked sleepily. He nodded and climbed into the other side of my bed.

"Goodnight Ni." I whispered.

"Goodnight Princess."
