Makenzie's POV
I glanced over to Braden, his cheeks were red and the look of dread was on his face. Well i guess he wasn't expecting that! Ben and I have been talking about what we are going to say for the past hours. Most of it was joking around. One of our only allies Veronica had gone first for the interviews so it was just us two to work together on how we are going to present ourselves. "So what should our plan be, I mean should we pull a die-for-you-love act or maybe a I-don't-care-anything-about-you act or what?" Ben asked me. "I think we should go with a i-love-you-so-much-your-like-a-brother-to-me act." I explained. "Well that seems like a good idea." Ben said in agreement. "Well I guess we will have to see how it works out." I said. "Well shouldn't we have some sort of bace to go off of?" Ben asked. "Yeah I guess your right." I admitted. "Well then lets get to work!" He exclaimed! We had spent the next hour working on how to present ourselves and then Carter came and took Ben out for his interview. I anxiously walked over to the screen to watch his interview. "So Ben how have you been?" Tristan asked like he'd known him for years. "Good. Good." Ben says casually. They continue to chat friendly for awhile like how the past Games might effect the outcome of this years games. Then Tristan asks "How do feel about the Hunger Games?" "Well I mean they aren't may favorite thing. I think that there horrible and sick." He replies completely honest. "Well then how would you feel if there was another 'sick' twist on the games this year?" Tristan asked. My stomach drops, what is that supposed to mean? Another 'sick twist'? Did they make it just for Ben? Why tell us about it now? The audience is silent for a few moments. Then Tristan breaks the silence. "So you seem like a peoples person, is there any body that is waiting for you back at home?" "Well there's my younger brother Connor and our mother Elsie but other they are the only ones that are at home." Ben replies. "You say that like there is someone else?" Tristan questions. "Well I mean there is. Makenzie and I are like brother and sister. Our families have know each other for years before we were born, so we've spent most of our lives hang out." Ben says. "Well that's interesting!" Tristan exclaims. Then the buzzer buzzes signaling the end of the interview. "Well it was nice chatting with you Ben." Tristan said. "As well as you." Ben replies as he exits the stage. Well I guess it's my turn now.
