Ben's POV
Well I pretty sure that went well. I wish I could talk to Makenzie before she has to get interviewed. I thought as I went to find my seat behind the stage. Once I got behind the stage I sat next to Veronica who was chatting with a boy who I guessed was the other tribute from her district. "Hey." I said to her getting her attention. "Hey." She called back. I walked over and sat next to her. "So is this your other partner?" I ask. "Yeah. This is Thomas. Thomas Ben. Ben Thomas." She said introducing us. "Hello I'm Thomas." Thomas said and held out his hand so I could shake it. "Ben." I said shaking his hand. "I was thinking that Thomas could join our alliance." Veronica said. "You know sense there's you and Makenzie and then there can be me and Thomas. Also it's better to have more people on our side." Veronica explained. "Well it's fine with me and I think that Makenzie wouldn't mind so it's now just up to Thomas." I said. "Well I would love to join your guy's alliance." Thomas told us. "Well then welcome to the team Thomas." Veronica said nudging his shoulder softly. "Do you guys want to watch Makenzie's interview now?" Veronica asked. "Sure, why not." I say. After that we all sat down on the couch that showed the interview. "So Makenzie, do you have any allies in this hunger games?" Tristan asked. "Actually yes I do." Makenzie explained. "There is me, Ben, and Veronica. I was also hoping to make more allies." She explained. "Well that sounds like fun." Tristan said. "So is there anyone at home who is going to miss you?" "Well there's my mom, my sister, and two brothers." She says. "And then there's also Ben and his family." She finishes just as the buzzer goes off. "Well that's all the time we have left with Makenzie folks. Thank you Makenzie." Tristan say. "Thank you Tristan." Makenzie says and walks off the stage.
