Roxana's POV
Ok I guess it's my turn to get interviewed. I thought to myself as Carter came and got me. I sat down next to Tristan and he started to ask questions. It went faster then I expected. The 30 minutes were over in what felt like 10. "Well it was nice to meet you Roxana, I wish you luck in the hunger games." Tristan said as the buzzer rang. "Thank you Tristan. I hope you enjoy the games." I told him as I left the stage. Ugg 1 more interview. I sat down to the girl that just got interviewed before me. I think her name is Makenzie. "Hello." I said remembering that she wanted to make alliances. "Hi" she said back nicely. "My name is Roxana. What is yours?" I question. "My name is Makenzie. Do you have any alliances made?" She counters. "No." I say. "Well you seem pretty nice I'll have to ask my group but if it's ok with them we can see if you can join ours. That is if you want to." She offers. "Yeah that would be great." I tell her. "Awesome." She replies. We continue talking for the rest of the interview. After it's over and I'm officially in there alliance I go upstairs to my room and go to sleep. I wake up in the morning to find an outfit at the foot of my bed. I immediately think 1 day until the games. After that thought a speaker comes on a says. "All of the tributes must get ready and meet in the dining hall for an important announcement. We will be meeting in 30 minutes." Shit. I think. I need to get ready! I quickly put on my bothering to take a shower. Then I brush my teeth and run out the door. I make it to the dinning hall just in time. We all sat down at the and started eating. There were all kinds of breakfast foods like pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, milk, orange juice, and a ton of other things that I haven't seen before. After we all finished eating Carter spoke. "So is everyone enjoying the food?" We all replied with a nod of our heads. "So as you know Tristan gave a little hint of why we are here this morning. We have a surprise for you." Carter explained. All of us fell silent. Carter waited a moment for it to set in. "We are adding a twist to the hunger games this year. 1 extra tribute has been elected at the random from each district." Carter says slowly. Everybody looked horrified. How could he do this! Why would he do this? He started laughing. "You guys should see the looks on your faces's." He said In-between giggles. He continued after he had control of himself. "So from district one we will have Kat." The door opened and 2 peacemakers lead a girl with short red hair into the room. There was a gasp that came from Veronica one of my new allies. "From district two we have Max." Again two peacemakers brought in a tall boy with freckles. "From district three we have Josiah." A short boy with black hair walked in with two peacemakers following him. "From district 4 we have Connor." I looked over at Ben and Makenzie. They both looked like someone just shot there family. Then I remember back to last night how Ben said he had a brother and him and Makenzie were like brother and sister. This must be Ben's brother! I thought. As a boy with brown hair walked into the room. By now the room was almost full because of all the peacemakers. "From district 5 we have Cecelia." A girl with bright pink hair walked in with two peacemakers behind her. Dough scoffed as if he knew she wasn't going to make it. "Well there you have it folks. You new tributes. Also the goodbye interviews has been canceled. Tonight you'll have the goodbye party. The games will start in the morning, be ready. We hope you have fun at the party and happy hunger games to everybody." Carter said and left the room.
