Tommy started Primary School the other day. I contemplated keeping him back but knew that I couldn't do that to him. He was growing up against my wishes.
The other thing is that we ended up moving to America. I felt that I should go back to school to encourage Tommy that school was fun and school was great. We ended up moving to a little place called Kauai. It was an island which was part of the state of Hawaii.
Morgan was busty with his hockey career. We hung out less and talked more over text. He was constantly playing, and off season he had one on one training with different hockey coaches. I loved him, but I couldn't wait for him for forever.
I also moved to get a fresh start. Somewhere where I everywhere I went, I wouldn't be reminded of Morgan.
I never forgot about Morgan. He promised that one day he would come get me. That he would retire his hockey suit and build a hockey rink here and teach Tommy how to play.
I held him to his promise. I believed that one day he would come back. I kept hoping for a while that he would come back. I got tired of waiting.
I waited for a couple of years. Every year he said that same thing. That he would retire, but he never kept that promise. He would get offered more and more money which lured him in.
I waited and heard these lies so long that I didn't believe that he would ever come home.
Until one day he did.
