That's the only thing that came into my mind. My mom and my aunt were winning and the red eyed wolf was now struggling under them as they had tackled him. In less than a second, my aunt bit the red eyed wolf and he howled in pain. My aunt and mom went back into the house whereas I was frozen to the ground. They came back as humans with sheepish smiles glued to their faces. That's when broke the ice-like silence.
"What just happened?" I said, more like screamed.
"Hehe um well you see", my mum started," we are all wolves and you are a late bloomer." I looked at her as if she were insane but then I remembered the incident that took place a few minutes ago.
"Please let us explain." My aunt pleaded. So I let them.
About 2 hours later,I found out everything about wolves. From shifting to mating. Everything. Apparently my whole family except my little sister (Emily) who is in foster care due to the incident, are wolves. We are late bloomers. After I heard everything, I came to one conclusion.
"I'm leaving, I need time to think about all this."
"No, don't leave, please." My mum pleaded. I shook my head and said,
"Mom, I'll come back in a few days. Just give me some time."
"Rose, let her go. Isn't she saying she'll be back. She never breaks any of her promise, does she?" My aunt tried to convince my mum. Thank you aunty.
"Okay, you can go then, but be back soon." My mum said.
"Thank you." I said and went to pack my stuff. After 45minutes I was done. I went downstairs, said good bye and left.
