Evelyn's POV

I looked up from my phone and saw jovani staring at me. "What do I have something on my face?" I asked him while giggling. Jovani just laughed. "What? I do have something on my face huh" I said. "No you're just beautiful. And I'm glad to have you back in florida. Sorry for staring" he said. I immediate started blushing and saw he was also blushing. Does he have feelings for me too? I asked myself. I responded to Jovani's compliment by saying "thank you." I looked up and I could see him smiling. He came closer to me and Leaned in. I don't know why but I Leaned in too. Just as our lips were about to meet. Julian was running over to us "I'm back sorry." He said. "Shit. Did I interrupt something." He asked. Me and jovani looked at each other and said "no." We got up and julian started walking. "We're leaving already?" I complained "trust me you'll like what's gonna happen" Julian said giving jovani a look. Jovani just smiled and nodded "wait. What's that secret code what's happening?" I asked confused. "Nothing," They both said. I gave them both a look and they just laughed

Julians POV
I feel bad I didn't get to spend some time at the park with evelyn but I'll get over it when I see her face. If only she knew I left so that I could finish helping arrange a welcome back party for her and her family. Me and Jovani decided to keep it a secret because we both know she liked surprises. When I was running back to the park to get jovani and evelyn, I yelled out to them that I was here. I saw they were really close to each other. I wonder if jovani was about to make a move. I guess I'll just have to ask about it later.

Evelyn's POV
We arrive at my house and I realize my parents were just arriving. "Hey mom. hey dad." I said. "Hey sweetheart." My dad said. Julian and jovani were looking at each other and smiling. "What are you guys so smiley about?" I asked them before opening the door "Nothing let's go inside" They said.

I opened the door and walked in and turned on the light when I saw a lot of people scream "welcome back" I looked over to my parents who also had a surprised happy expression on their face. I turned to look at jovani and julian and hugged them. "I love you guys" I whispered in their ears. "We love you too" They whispered back. I looked around and saw neighbors, old friends of my parents, and two guys that I've never seen before.

I walked around and greeted everyone with hugs. Then I saw Andrea, Julian and Jovani's older sister. "Omg Andrea hi!!"I told her as I hugged her tightly. "Hey!!! I missed you" she said "I did too. Where's ryan?" I asked looking around. "He's at work and we live kinda far from here so he won't be able to come sorry." She said with a sad face. "Don't worry I'll go visit you guys with julian and jovani some time in the week" I said with a smile "hope to see you there" She said and gave me a tight hug.

I walked to julian and jovani who were talking to the guys I didn't know. "Hey" I said awkwardly. "Hey" They all said back. "So evelyn lemme introduce you to them. This is juwany but we call him geo." Jovani said pointing to a tall guy with hazel eyes and that had bleeched tips of hair. He also had perfect eyebrows and was wearing a snapback. "Nice to meet you" I said. "Nice to meet you too" He winked. "And this is mario." Julian said pointing to an average height guy with black hair, green eyes, and had braces. "Nice to meet you." I told him "Nice to meet you too" he smiled. "Evelyn these are our best friends and trust me you guys will get along great" Jovani said smiling. "I hope so." I said nervously. They all just laughed. "So do you guys wanna go to the Beach tomorrow? Have some fun near the water then go to the fair next to the Beach?" Geo asked. "Sure" the rest of us said.

After a few more hours of talking everyone had to go so I hugged them all goodbye except julian and jovani. "You guys are staying with me." I told them. They just laughed and said "damn we don't even get a choice now." I laughed along with them as we walked upstairs to my room. I didn't feel like sleeping on my bed so I put a few blankets on the floor then layed down with julian and jovani. We couldn't sleep so we put on a movie. Halfway through the movie we all fell asleep...
