Sorry that the last chapter was so short!! I hope to make this one longer. Also, when I write in Jane's point of view, it isn't very realistic. It's just so hard to write like that because Jane is kind of mysterious. You have no idea what's going on inside his head, yet he knows exactly what's going on in yours.

Disclaimer: Do I look like Bruno Heller to you??? I don't own the mentalist...

Still Lisbon's P.O.V.

As I sit down at my desk, determined that I hyad it under control, Van Pelt opens the door. "I know something's up."

"Why would you think that?" I ask, wondering how she could tell.

" Remember that one time we got Jane to teach us some of his 'psychic' skills?" She reminds me. It was at a 4th of July party that Rigsby threw.

"That doesn't prove anything," I remark.

"Yes, it does. I can tell that your upset about something and worried people will find out. Your also sort of happy about it too, but you don't want to be."

"How can you even do that?!"

"As a friend, I want you to tell me. It will make you feel better, and I could probably help."

"Okay. I'll admit somethings.....not wrong, exactly, but pestering me. However, it's no big deal. I can take care of myself."

"You're worrying me. What could be so bad that you couldn't tell me about it." Van Pelt replies.

I shrug apologetically. "Not telling."

"Don't tell me then. I'll find out. Maybe I should get Jane to use his 'psychic' powers..." She smiles, as if contemplating the idea.

"I told you, it's not that big of a deal. Leave Jane and his stupid party tricks out of this. Grace, as your boss, I'm ordering you to stop messing around in my buisness." I state.

"And as your friend, I refuse. I'm gonna figure this out. Bye boss."  She walks out the door with a determined look on her face. Crap.

Really, though, the idea of her talking to Jane about this....well, I don't know how he will answer. Of course he won't tell her that we kissed. I hope.

Jane's P.O.V.

I'm laying on my couch when Van Pelt jogs in. "Hey, Jane?" She asks.

"What?" I reply.

"I think something's wrong with Lisbon." She sighs.

I sit up, asking," Wrong?"

"Yeah, she has been sorta off lately. Like somethings bothering her," she informs me.

"Oh, okay. Maybe she is just feeling discouraged about this case taking longer than usual," I guess, contemplating. I lie back down, hiding the way I jumped when she said 'wrong'. That scares me more than I'd like to admit it.

"Could you use your mentalist powers to find out? I asked her about it, but she wouldn't spill. All she said is that it was personal business," she continues.

"I'll talk to her later." I decide.

"I owe you!" She smiles, sitting down at her desk.

"If everyone's done disturbing me, I'm going to just drink my tea." I announce, reaching for my favorite blue mug.

"Actually you can't. Ms. Woodson has requested to see us," Cho conveys.

"Bet you two hundred dollars that I'm right about mistaken identity," I pull the money out of my jacket.

"You guys should really not bet on crimes like this. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Someone's dead." Van Pelt scolds. RIgsby closes his mouth, as he was about to join in.

"Hm. You're on. But if I win, I get a cheeseburger." Cho announces.

"Without the money?" Rigsby questions.

"No, along with it." Cho answers.

Lisbon comes marching out of her office right then, and leads the way to the elevators. Everyone pours into the van, and, naturally, Lisbon drives.
