Break Time - SPACE canteen

Harshad, Navya and Nandini sat eating their lunch. Harshad was going on about the many singing competitions he had won, and his numerous other achievements. Navya listened to him in awe, while Nandini was lost in Manik's thoughts. She was still trying to figure out why Manik could have been so pissed off with her talking to Harshad.

''So.. What do you think?'' Harshad suddenly asked loudly, breaking Nandini's track of thought.

''Haan, Hamein toh idea bohat acha laga!!'' Navya said.

''I'm sorry.. Kya idea?'' Nandini asked, trying to understand what exactly was going on.

''Arrey, Harshad is suggesting that he too will join our band. Phir toh hamare Musicana mein jeetne ke chances bhi badd jayenge!! We can learn a lot from him, haina?'' Navya said excitedly and Harshad smirked.

Nandini gulped. Harshad se mere baat karne pe hi Manik ko itna gussa aaya.. Agar uske saath band form kar liya toh pata nahi kya karega?!

''So.. What do you think Nandini.. Is it Okay if I join you guys? '' Harshad asked her.

''Yeah sure..'' Nandini said, suppressing her anxious feelings. 'Whatever it is, Manik can't order me around, especially without any explanation. I have a right to do what I want' she thought, her stubborn side surfacing.

Manik's anger knew no bounds. He played some music with Fab 5, to calm himself for a bit, but today his frustation was at an all-time high. Even music wasn't helping, and his thoughts kept distracting him.

Nandini doesn't know what that Harshad is capable of doing. Meri baat chup chaap kabhi maanti kyun nahi wo ladki?! Mujhe pura paagal karke hi chodegi!!

Finally, he put down his guitar and sighed. ''Guys, I need a break.'' he huffed.

''Manik, kya huwa hai tujhe buddy.. Tu aaj itna distracted kyun hai?'' Dhruv asked.

''Mujhe pata hai.. Kisi ki yaadon mein khoya huwa hai.. Dhruv, Samjha kar yaar'' Cabir mocked him.

''CABIRRR'' Manik said, clenching his teeth angrily. ''Listen, I've to deal with something urgently.. You guys continue, I'll be back'' He suddenly announced and stormed off.

''Uh Oh.. This doesn't seem good. Girls, you wait here. Dhruv, lets follow this angry young man'' Cabir said, and the two ran behind Manik.

Soon, Manik found whom he was looking for at the Musicana registration desk. There stood Harshad along with Nandini and Navya.

''Yeah, so our band name is NH3, and the members are Nandini Murthy, Navya Naveli and Harshad Saxena'' He was saying with glee.

Manik clenched his fist, and grabbed Harshad by his collars. It was so sudden, that everyone froze in their places for a while.

''Manik?!!.. Chodd mujhe!! Kya kar raha hai?'' Harshad screamed, trying to escape Manik's strong hold.

''Main tujhe aakhri baar warn kar raha hoon.. Nandini se dhoor reh, Samjha?'' Manik warned him, his grasp still tight on Harshad's collar.
