AT PARKER'S CYBER CAFE, TEXAS
5:37 PM.
"Yo! JD."
The owner of that shop, a man named Parker waved his hand just as a fellow customer, a guy who he called JD entered in the cyber cafe.
'What a pain in ass!' JD muttered under his breath by giving Parker an acknowledging nod and his best fake smile.
"How are you man?" Parker asked him as soon as JD came near the counter. JD replied while handing his card to him.
"As always, pretty good." He threw a wink and Parker laughed.
"Ah-- wait a second." Parker said while typing something on his system which JD assumed as the entry of his visit. It became one of his daily routines now where he comes to this cyber cafe and Parker fills his information from his personal ID card to his system in the sheet where he always kept records of his daily customers.
"Here!" Parker smiled and handed his card back to JD along with the token which had a number of his favorite system on it.
"System 7, right? For two hours?"
JD nodded and gave a genuine smile to Parker. JD took out his wallet and quickly handed 10$ bill to Parker, for the 2 hour system usage. Seeing that amount again, his face lit up and JD started walking away by taking a quick glance at him.
"Enjoy your visit--"
Parker started and stopped abruptly when he noticed JD taking steps towards his system without giving him a chance to finish his sentence. He frowned but smiled when he looked again at 10$ bill, he was his only customer who had always paid him more than the actual amount and that's why Parker had become so happy on seeing him. He don't give a shit about the type of person JD actually was cause he looked creepy and a weirdo with his hooded appearance although he was the most handsome guy Parker had ever seen, he wondered sometimes that why a handsome man like him would need to hide his face by always wearing a hood on his head which covered half of his face. But he let go of the thought, and decided to ignore his appearance and just focus on the money JD would give him, cause whatever or however he would be, he was his loyal customer.
On the other hand, JD knew what type of a person Parker was and that's why he used to pay him more, so that he won't ever doubt on his personality and especially for what he comes to this cyber cafe. Obviously, it became a habit for him now, to come daily to the cafe and keep tabs on his favorite author. Ms. Jeffrey.
He smiled to himself thinking about her. Just when the screen of his system came to life, he started typing the name of the only website where he could read her books for free. Wattpad.
