When lunch time arrived I had already turned down about a dozen girls and boys who had flirted with me...which is unusual since I'm always a big flirt. I think Camila plays a part in that since she's been consuming my thoughts all day.

"Hey! Y/N/N come over here and sit with me, I want you to meet some of my friends!" Camila called out to me. I nodded in agreement and followed her to a table where 4 girls were sitting at. They all gave me a knowing look which confused me, I wonder if Camila told them about me.

"So girls this is Y/N Y/LN she's new here and I'm going to be showing her to her classes and helping her out." Camila said with a grin. The tall girl with tanned skin spoke up.

"Oh we know who you are Mila over here never shuts up about you, I'm Dinah by the way." The girl named Dinah said. Camila turned red as a tomato and glared at Dinah.

"Dinah! You weren't supposed to say that!" She whined.

"It's not like we all don't know who she is, she's THE Y/N Y/LN! Everyone knows her she used to go to that rich school and she's one of the best musicians in Miami! AND she's hot as fuck." A girl with dark skin spoke up. That's something I may have forgotten to mention, ever since I was little I've had a passion for music. I started playing instruments and now at the age of 18, I play drums, guitar, bass, piano and I can sing. Everyone at my old school even used to call me Music Girl.

Then the shortest girl at the table spoke up.

"Normani! Language! Sorry about those two, I'm Ally. You already know Dinah and the other one who should NOT curse is Normani. And this is Lauren." Ally explained. She nudged Lauren's shoulder to speak up and Lauren's head finally shot up from the table and looked up, she turned her head to Ally.

"Ally what the hell! I was gonna beat my high score!" She complained, which caused Ally to glare at her for cursing and of course for her being rude. She turned her head towards me and sent a flirtatious smile.

"Hey I'm Lauren but you already know that." She winked, crap. "If you aren't busy by the way it'd be cool if we hung out."

Shit. Shit, shit, shit, shit. What do I do? I looked to my left and saw Camila glaring at Lauren, strange, maybe they are going through an argument at the moment. I turned my gaze back to Lauren and decided to choose my words carefully.

"Of course I don't mind." I paused for effect. "I think the girls would love it as much as I would if we all hanged out with you." Lauren's jaw dropped. Maybe she isn't used to girls rejecting her but I'm glad I'm the first.

A slender hand grabbed my wrist and practically dragged my away from the girls. I couldn't help but notice the sparks erupting inside of me, this is a new feeling but, I like it. I looked to the owner of the hand and saw Camila as she had anger in her eyes, why was she angry? Did I step on her foot? I hope not. Maybe I said something...or had bad breath...oh wait it coul-

"So Y/N wanna get some food with me?" Camila looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I was still in shock so I ended up stuttering, which I NEVER do! What the hell is going on with me like seriously?

"Y-yeah okay. Sounds uh g-good." Shit fuck! Why am I all awkward right now! Okay time to put my game back on.

"Y'know that's not the only thing I want to get with you." Her eyes widened and I smirked. "How about we get some food from the cafeteria like you wanted, and I get to take you out to dinner tomorrow?"

She looked surprised but also, excited? I could see her hiding her joy but I can read girls well, she looked like she just won the lottery right now. Once she regained her composure she nodded her head, not too much since she wanted to look like it was no big deal I think.

Well this is going to be fun. I thought to myself with a mental face eating grin.

Arriving home has never been my favourite part of my day. I either head straight up to my room and play music, or, go for a run of I'm feeling emotional.

But something happened when I parked my car in the driveway. Something I didn't expect at all. I looked down at my hands that were firmly placed on the steering wheel, but, my hands weren't there. I couldn't see them. I could feel them I know they are there but it's almost as if they are, invisible. I started to freak out. I got out of my car as fast as I could, rushed into the house and went upstairs to my room in a flash. What the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuckity fuck fuck. I kept repeating in my head. I looked into my full body length mirror that was in the corner of my room and got even more freaked out.

My whole body was invisible. My whole god damn body. Why is this happening? I just want to scream at the top of my lungs and wake up from this nightmare.

I started pinching myself so I could wake up. Nothing. Oh god. I'm awake. This isn't a dream. Shit shit shit shit.

"Stop it!" I yelled. Frustrated that I couldn't see myself. Then, the minute I yelled those two words, it stopped. My whole body appeared again. Holy shit. I put I hand over my chest relieved and took some deep breaths.

That's when I got the craziest idea that has ever crossed my mind. I mean, nothing wrong in trying this idea. I closed my eyes for a minute, opened them, focused on my entire body, cleared my mind and pursued this idea.

And it worked.

My whole body was invisible again. I laughed. How is this even possible? I don't understand why this is happening but I might as well put use to it. I tried again following the same steps I did before.

And I could see my body again.

I can control this. I can freaking turn invisible whenever I want. Fuck yes this is awesome! I did a little happy dance and grinned as wide as I could.

-

I spent the next hour practicing this new skill. It took time and effort but in the end I was able to now go invisible whenever I wanted and I'm not gonna lie. That is fucking cool!

Laying down in my bed, I found myself scrolling through Instagram. Here and there I would like some pictures my friends had posted but wasn't too interested.

Then there was a knock on my door. Then a shout. He doesn't usually knock. What's this about? He always just bursts into my room.

"Sweetie we have some guests go say hi to them." I made a face of disgust. If course. I should've known. Every time we have guests over Rob turns into this goody-two-shoes. He's all polite, doesn't curse, and, doesn't hit me. I groaned in frustration and rolled out of bed.

As I walked downstairs I heard cheerful voices and laughter. Great. I put on my best 'happy' face and entered the living room.

"Ah! There she is! Come say hi to our guests." My mother spoke in her I-am-such-a-well-put-together-person voice. Yes she does have a voice like that and yes I named it that. Similar to Rob she acts charming in front of guests but as soon as they leave she's back to ignoring me.

Giving her a polite smile which I hated doing, I saw a family of three stand up and walk towards me.

"Hello Y/N we are the Mahones."
