My breathing quickened as I paced back and forth on the tiled floor of Lauren's house. I had to do something, she could get hurt, especially with her emotional state right now.

With a leap of courage I grabbed the door handle and twisted the handle but stopped halfway. I still had the suit on. My mind scattered with resolutions on what I should do; change into regular clothes and find her? No that would take too long. Try to hide what I had on? People would notice me eventually. There was only one logical option that made sense to me. I needed to use the suit for what it was intended to do, it was the fastest way I could find Lauren.

I broke my train of thought and bolted out the door, determined to let this be the first night of where I could use my abilities for good. Running down the street, I focused my breathing and picked up speed gradually, to the point of where I was going so fast I could be considered an Olympic runner. Once I had enough speed I jumped up in the air with all my strength, causing a loud boom to be heard as I shot up into the sky.

Ever since these abilities have appeared, I've been practicing them whenever I had the chance. At first, my flight was clumsy and I may have crashed into a couple farm lands but I eventually got the hang of it along with my strength and invisibility. I noticed that once I was high up in the air I could hear much better too, I could hear sirens, people having conversations and even footsteps. Crazy, I know.

The night air was cold, but the suit that Lauren made for me managed to keep in my body heat extremely well. I brushed some stray stands of hair out of my face and realizes I still had my mask on, thank god, I still wasn't used to wearing one so it's a good thing I have mine on now. Once I was at the desired height I wanted to be, which was just below the clouds, I closed my eyes and focused on the sounds below me. I heard multiple sounds, jazz music playing, arguing, a loud laugh of a male, but one stood out, a slurred voice belonging to Lauren.

"Just give me one more, t-then I'll go home!" She pleaded. I turned my head towards the sound, and waited to see if I could hear anything else.

"You should just go home right now little lady, it's almost the middle of the night, but I'll give you just one more shot. Only 'cause you look like you've had a real shit of a day." A low voice of a man responded.

She must be at a nightclub, I thought. By using more of the conversation as a way to find the bar. I followed the sound and before I knew it, I was on the roof of The Sorrow, a popular, if not the most popular, nightclub in Miami. Loud music could be heard booming outside of the building, along with slurred voices and obnoxious laughs. Lauren must've used fake ID to get in.

I didn't have any spare clothes with me, so it seemed the only option to get inside was to go invisible. I sighed and focused my mind and within seconds I was undetectable, I guess Lauren was right that the suit could mimic my actions.

I jumped off the roof and walked towards the entrance. Instantly, I noticed a large line up of people towards the door and at the door, was a large muscular man with tattoos all over his arms, wearing all black. He let some people pass and others he shooed away, I smiled, and walked right past him and everyone else. It was hard to not bump into someone, the area was so compact and it seemed that almost every space was occupied by a body. So I may have bumped shoulders with others a couple times but they seemed too drunk to notice.

After what seemed like an eternity, I finally managed to spot Lauren, she was standing at the bar with her back facing me, downing a shot. I grumbled a couple curse words in frustration before I made my way towards her, no one taking my presence into attention since I decided to stay invisible until I was out of this club. Right when I was in arms reach of her, I realized she was talking to someone animatedly. She was talking to a man who looked to be in his twenties, with piercings, hair just above his shoulders and an unlit cigarette dangling from his lips. Ew a fuck boy. I rolled my eyes, I fucking hate those guys.
