Chapter 4

Beep beep beep beep

I awoke from my slumber and groaned, sitting up from the bed below me and shutting off the alarm clock the hotel provided me with. I rubbed my eyes and immediately woke up completely when I remembered my date today, of course I had school first but I made some calls and she's gonna have the best date ever.

Once I was on my feet I walked over to the bathroom and started brushing my teeth. When that was over with I decided to get dressed. I looked around for my backpack but couldn't see it anywhere in the area, maybe it's under the bed? I got on my hands and knees, laid on my stomach and looked under the small bed. Bullseye! Found it! I smiled happily and reached for my backpack, but, my arms weren't long enough to grab it.

God damnit.

I stood back up and tried moving the bed but I didn't just move it, the bed practically flew across the room and landed upside down causing a loud noise to erupt. I looked down at my hands, shocked of what I just did. Did I really just do that? Ugh whatever, it's not like it's the first time something weird like that has happened. Well I guess a have what they call super strength, pfft, this is so cheesy it feels like this isn't real, like I'm going to wake up and realize it's just a dream. I guess I'll just have to deal with this crazy shit.

I walked over to the upside down bed and flipped it back over, putting it in it's former place.

I hope no one heard that.

Setting my tray full of food on the table was probably the best part of my day so far, since I get to enjoy greasy, fat, deep fried, delicious food. I mean, yeah, that's super unhealthy but whatever okay. Fuck you, I can eat what I want.

I heard someones body sit beside me, then, three other bodies joined in near me. I looked up from my meal and saw all the girls, except one,
around the table I was at.

"You looked lonely sitting here all alone so we decided to be lonely with you!" Normani smiled. I smiled back and looked over to Dinah who was basically inhaling her food.

"Dmac are you trying to eat your food or inhale it?" I joked. Dinah looked up at me and scoffed.

"Y/N/N please girl, I skipped breakfast, which is a BIG deal for me! Let me eat my food in peace!" She playfully stuck her tongue at me and I laughed, amused by her acting so childish. I was concerned about one particular person missing from the group of five though, so I decided to ask them.

"Where's Lauren? She's usually always with you guys." Ally shot her head up and took a sip of her water, clearing her throat.

"Lauren said she's taking a breather outside for a bit, but she should've been back by now." Ally explained but her last sentence sounded more like a question. I got out of my seat and looked for the door.

"I'll go find her, Camila, make sure Dinah over there doesn't eat all my food!" Dinah tried to protest with my statement but with her mouth full of food you couldn't make out a single word she was saying. We all giggled and I started walking.

I decided to try one of the side doors since no one ever goes out that way. I put my hand on the doorknob and twisted it but it was locked.

Time to put this strength to use.

With no problem at all, I managed to break the lock on the door and opened it carefully. I might have broken it but it wasn't noticeable to others.

Right then and there, I came face to face with what I'd never expect to see.
