Camila's POV

"Did you like it?" I looked up at Y/N, smiling, nodding my head and we walked hand in hand away from the amazing date I had just experienced.

I'm still mesmerized by her. Her way of talking, how she walked, every little thing she did I noticed. Which made me fall for her even more. My own insecurities are always telling me that she doesn't like me back, but, I can't help but hope she does like me. I feel like I'm on cloud 9, the happiest I've been in a long time and it's all because of her.

"Earth to Camila, you still there?" The beauty in front of me joked. I widened my eyes in realization and instantly my cheeks flushed to a deep shade of red.

"Um, I think I forgot my necklace. I took it off when we were on the Ferris wheel and I must've forgotten it." I explained deeply embarrassed.

"Oh no problem, I'll wait here for you." She smiled reassuringly. I gave her a gentle smile and turned, making my way over to the place we were at minutes ago.

After a couple of minutes looking around for the necklace Dinah gave me, I finally found it on the ground next to the Ferris wheel. I giggled at my clumsiness, I must've accidentally knocked it to the ground.

Reaching down to grab it, I was caught off guard when another hand went and grabbed it for me. Shocked by these antics, I quickly looked up to see a scrawny boy standing in front of me, grinning.

"What are you do-" I was cut off by the boy before I could even finish my sentence.

"I'm Austin, it's a pleasure to meet you. I was just taking a walk through the forest and this necklace caught my eye. Is it yours?" He asked. Holding the expensive jewelry in front of my face, letting it dangle.

"Yes it is. Um, I should probably get going. It's a pleasure to meet you too...Austin." I took the necklace from his hand and began to walk away silently cursing to myself. What was he doing taking a 'walk' in the middle of the forest at night? Before I could go any further I felt a tight grip on my wrist.

"Can I get your name at least?" Austin asked.

"It's, uh, Camila. I have to go now, bye." I awkwardly scooted away from him, zooming out of the area in search of Y/N.

Your POV

"Sooooo did it work out?" Tori squealed onto the other end of the phone.

"Yes it did, now go to bed Tori. I appreciate you helping me with all of this but you gotta sleep." I told my best friend.

Back at my old private school, yes, it was true I didn't get close to anyone because they were just after what I had but Tori Larret was the only person I really trusted there. She graduated last year and is currently in college, in hopes of becoming a teacher. She didn't know who I was until she found out two weeks into our friendship. I didn't want her to know since she was the first person who wanted to be my friend not because of my money or looks. But being the kind hearted person she is, she didn't go after my money or anything really once she found out. Ever since she's been my only and best friend. I called her up to help me with my date with Camila and she was happy to help, since I've never asked her to help me with a date before.

"Okay okay fine. But I should let you know that I'm coming into town tomorrow so please can you and your date have your clothes on when we meet up?"

"Tori!"

"Y/N!"

"Can you be an adult for once? Jesus." I huffed. She snickered and continued to tease me over the phone. That is until I heard someone clear their throat from behind me. "T, I gotta go, I'll see you later."
