"Holy shit, I'm so fucking proud of you guys!" I exclaim, as we chug down a round of shots.

All the guys, Ryan Gentles, my best friend, Summer, and I, were all celebrating The Strokes release of their first EP, "The Modern Age". It was doing really well in Europe.

We were somewhat buzzed because the partying had just begun, but Ryan stood up on the table and clinked his beer bottle to get everyones attention.

"Alright guys, I have exciting news!" He paused,

"The mother fucking Strokes are going on tour!" He yelled, as everyone looked around shocked, before jumping up and celebrating.

I exchanged a friendly kiss with Nikolai and hugged all the guys. I was so excited for them, and how far they have come.

Sometimes, I look at the guys and feel super nostalgic, and it makes me miss the days in high school, when we first met.

All of us met in high school in New York, Dwight high school, and I just stuck around them with Summer.

I remember the first time they played us some of their songs, and they were so good, but no one actually knew they would come this far. It was incredible.

"I'm so fucking happy!" Nikolai said, as he picked me up and hugged me. "I'm so happy for you guys!" I said, as I slung my arms around his neck.

Secretly, I totally had feelings for Nikolai, but the only people who knew were Summer and Julian, who I was probably closest with in the band, besides Nikolai.

I sat down at the bar, and asked for another round of shots.

"Isn't this great!?" Julian exclaimed, as he came up from behind me, helping me deliver all the shots to the guys. His voice was hoarse and raspy.

"I'm so going to miss you guys on tour, but it's going to be a blast for all of you!" I exclaimed, as Julian looked down at me, arching his eyebrow.

"Who says you're not tagging along, my dear?" Julian questioned as we set down the shots at our table.

"Shut up!" I playfully yelled as I pushed his shoulder, lightly.

I was hoping I could go, but I'm not actually in the band. "C'mon Gia, you're like our best friend! How the fuck could we not bring you?" Julian explained.

I knew he was serious because it's just mean to prank me with something like this. I jumped up to and hugged him, "Julian, you son of a bitch! I love you!" I happily screamed, as I was filled with complete joy.

He hugged me back tightly and I knew he had a huge grin plastered on his face.

I was going on tour with The Strokes!
