Chapter 13

Jackson's POV:
Sarah's scream wasn't about the note. I could tell, I glance behind me. Wait, where's Sarah? "Sarah!?" I yell over and over. Where could she have gone? "No," I start to think. "That couldn't happen, could it?" My thoughts are running wild. "Has E taken her?" I blurt in a mumble. "What was that?" I heard someone say, they weren't too far away from me. I turn around to see whom the voice belonged to. I turn on my flashlight and point it towards the tents, a slight shadow passes by. "Who's there?" I ask confidently, even though I am not so confident. I start to walk towards the tents, my legs shaking in terror, I lose my footing and fall over. My arm lands on a shoe, I look up to see who it belongs to. "Ahhhh!" I could tell my face looked horrified. E was just hovering over me. What do I do? Oh my god. What am I going to do? I'm frozen, not moving a muscle, not even breathing, well, I am, slightly. I get up slowly, my eyes not taken off the figure. How could I still not see the person under the hoodie? My hand slowly moves up, then quickly I swipe the hoodie back. "GOT YA!" I yell. A mask? A girl mask. That looks like.. Oh my! That looks like Eli's face! I take a step back as she, he, thing, it moves closer and closer. Every step I get more scared. I run for it, not thinking about anything, I run. Run for my life, straight into the forest. I took a glance back, still running. Wait! E is taking the mask off! I'm still running, i'm too interested to know who E is and.. Just about to reveal whom has been torturing us all this time and BANG! I smack into a tree going dead cold.
Unknown's POV:
I rush over to him, I grab out my phone. "000 what's your emergency" the lady said over the phone. "There is a man that has gone out cold by accidentally running into a tree" I chuckle a little in my head. "Was he drunk?" She asks. "No, just a bit clumsy, please get here now" I reply. "Your whereabouts?" She asks. I tell her a location a while from here but we'll get there before them. At least they won't see the blown up cars, I chuck him in the car and off we go. I put him on the ground at the bottom of a tree just as they arrive. "We will take it from here. Can we please know your name?" A man said to me. I nod and write it on the piece of paper he gave me. "Thank you, now you get home" he smiles and takes Jackson to the hospital. "My job is don't here" I smile.
Sarah's POV:
"Where am I?" I ask myself. "Wait, isn't this.. Danielle's house? Won't she be here with Liz?" Just as I muddle up my words the door knob turns and the two girls faces pop up. "Oh you're awake" Liz smiles. "How long have I been out for?" I ask curious. Dani glances at Liz. "Well?" I ask. "About a week" Dani half smiles, with fear in her eyes. "Why so scared Dani?" I ask. "Well, we knew you and Jackson went out for a couple of days. When you turned up at our doorstep out cold at two am, in pouring down rain, thunder and lightning. We were scared, after three days we started to think you weren't going to wake up. Then we started wondering where Jackson was..." Dani starts to explain. "Wait. Where's Jackson?!" I ask loudly. "Hey, shh. He's okay, I guess. He's in hospital. He was out as well, except he ran into a tree" Liz says. "Who called it in? The ambulance wouldn't be roaming at three am." I ask. "Good question, now that you're awake we'll go take you to see him. You see him and we'll have a look who called it in okay?" Dani gets up. "Let's go" Liz helps me up. We go out to Dani's car, jumping in the back seat, Dani starts up the car and off we go to the hospital.
Danielle's POV:
Should I tell Sarah about the note that came with her delivery to the door? "Hey Sarah, I need to ask you something" I blurt out without thinking. "Yeah what's that?" She replies. I look over to the passenger seat, Liz is shaking her head like crazy. I put a thumbs up, then a thumbs down, asking her if I should tell Sarah. Straight away it was a thumbs down. I nod, "Do you know what happened to your car? It hasn't turned up anywhere" I ask her, thinking of something else. Just keeping the topic on that night. "Well, no. Not really. I only remember an explosion" Is that all Sarah remembers? "Wait an explosion?!" Starting to think aloud. Nice one. "Yes, an explosion" she replies. "What exploded?" I ask her curiously. "Ummm. Oh that's right! The cars." Sarah explains. We pull up at the hospital, we all go rushing in. We all go into Jackson's room, Sarah runs over to him straight away, Liz and I just walking behind her. "Are you okay? Do you remember what happened?" She asks him. "Yeah. Everything." He replies. I'm screaming in sign language to not tell her about the note, yeah we told him. I'm slicing my throat with my hand, shaking my head. No no no! He nods. He seems to tell her everything except that. Liz and I stay and listen, Jackson hasn't told us this yet, after Jackson finishes his story, Sarah stays and talks to him whilst Liz and I go find the lady at the front counter. "Miss, would it be rude to ask if we could have the name of who called in Jackson?" I ask. I was going to say his last name but she seemed to know who he was. "Danielle Armstrong" she smiles happily. Liz and I lock eye contact.
