Chapter 18

Jackson's POV:
E was casually walking closer and closer towards me, to act natural and so people didn't think I was weird; I started looking at some clothes. I turned around to see if E was still around, my eyes flipped over to where I had seen E last. Not there, my breathing started to pick up a bit faster and my heart was pounding, I walk around the corner and a hand leaps around my mouth and the other hand covers my eyes. I am struggling to breathe, scrambling to move I wonder why no one in the shop saw this happening. Never mind that right now! I trued using my own hands to unwrap the wrapped hands off me, no use. Letting E tug me along, we seem to have come to a stop. Dropping me to the ground with a thud, I hear a door lock. I couldn't see clearly as my eyes where covered for a little, the blacks dots finally vanished and I start to yell. "Shoosh, quiet" the sweet voice talks to me. The black figure starts to take off the hoodie that will reveal who has been torturing us all this time. "Is there someone in here?" A man calls from outside of the locker. E is nodding, indicating me to tell him that someone's in here, "uh. Yes, i'll... i'll be out in.. in a sec.. second" I stutter out. The man grunts, hearing footsteps vanish I put my concentration back onto E, who by the way was just about to reveal them self to me. E steps to the side and opens the door, gesturing me to walk out. I stand up, getting off the hard floor and stumble out of the door. Turning back around, E's gone. "God dammit!" I yelled, the man comes rushing in. "Mister, is everything alright?" he asks politely. "darn, these jeans won't fit and they are the largest size. That's okay though." I smile as I pick up a pair of humongous jeans out of the locker I was in. I pass the man the jeans and walk past him, I turn the corner and basically sprint out of the shop. Where could E have gone in such a short amount of time?
Sarah's POV:
It was getting darker as I drove home. Does Jackson like me? He's cute and all, and i've gotten over Luke.. Maybe, just maybe. I felt a blush crawl up my cheeks, I turned a corner to see flashing lights. Red and blue, there where Police cars and an Ambulance, I quickly speed up to the accident and jump out of the car. I ran over to a policeman, "What happened?" I asked, worridly. "Umm. We aren't sure yet. All we know is that Mr.Jangarneene will be alright." The policeman reassured me. "Wait, who?" My head spinning trying to figure out who he had just said. "Mr.Jangarneene." He raised an eyebrow, "oh my god!" I sprint to the caution tape and I fiddle for my phone, once I have it in my hands I call the group, it includes: Dani, Jackson, Liz and myself. I hear the annoying ringing sound as I put my phone against my ear, they all pick up at a sudden. "hey what's up?" "is everything okay?" all of these different questions. I walk over behind the cop cars, "SHUT UP!" I yell into the phone, not a peep. "Okay, so Mr.Jangarneene was in an accident in his home" I let out a big breath. "All of you get over here asap" I end the call and rush back over to the ambulances. The gang is here in no time, I spot them and wave my heavy arms in the air. They all rush over to me and they all hang their bodies over the tape trying to see Mr.Jangarneene. "Do you know what happened?" Jackson asked me. I feel my cheeks starting to burn, he really does have an affect on me. "Sarah, what happened?" Liz snapped me out of my gaze. "I.. Uh.. I don't know. The police don't know for sure either, Mrs.Jangarneene just called them and said that Mr.Jangarneene had been in an accident" I'm glad I finally managed to get all that out. Jackson comes and stands next to me, I felt a tear slip down my face; Mr.Jangarneene use to set up tea parties and things for us all when we were little and went over to Eli's. Jackson slid his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him. I felt a spark go through my body, I turn my head so that I am looking at him. He's already looking at me, I stare at his lips and then to his eyes. His eyes were shining, what a beautiful sight. I love you. I thought, but I didn't say. "I love you too" he smiled and kissed me on the forehead. "How.. Di.. did you.. kn.. know that.. that's what I .. I was thi.. thinking?" My words mixed with nerve and confusion. "Your eyes say it all gorgeous" his words run around in my head and bounce off the walls with joy. "Are you'se done yet?" Dani asked, Liz laughs. "Oh.. Umm. yeah" I smile shamfully. I look up at Jackson, he looks like he's trying to not burst out laughing. I hit him in the arm, a big smile spreaded across my face. "Ay! what was that for?" He squints and pokes my face. I giggle. Mr.Jangarneene was safely at the hospital in no time, Jackson took me back to his house and Liz stayed with Dani for the night. I go over to the grey, ripped sofa and lay down, "no, please. Come upstairs" Jackson smiles and lends me a hand off the sofa. We walk up the creaky but polished brown stairs up the Jackson's room. "Jackson!" Little arms attach around his waist, He picks lily up and walks her to her room. Putting her down on her pink unicorn bed, he reads her a book about how the big brother saved the little sister from a dragon. He was obviously making it up, from the doorway I hear someone walking up the stairs. Jackson finishes his story, Lily is asleep and Jackson walks over to me with a smile on his face. My face expression on the other hand was fright, I pointed down the stairs and Jackson grabbed my hand and we ran to his room. "What was it? What did you hear? What did you see?" Jackson seemed worried, like this had happened before? "I.. uh.. heard someone walking up the stairs" I cracked the words out of my mouth. Just at that second I hear running down the stairs, my head immediately snaps to Jackson. "It's not lily, the feet thump too loudly" he exclaims. "Could it be?"

I am so so sorry that I haven't been uploading lately, just been so caught up with.. well, life yanno? So. I'm not really feeling the vibe for this book anymore so my whole story has changed in my head, the ending & stuff. So i'm going to try & end it as soon as possible cos I have another idea for a book.
