*a week goes by*
| Grayson's POV |
I woke up this morning to Ethan crying. I quickly got up and opened his bedroom door.
"Ethan, what's wrong man?"
"G-gray... Come here."
I walked over to him as I noticed he was on the phone. He handed it to me and I noticed it was mom on the other line.
"Hi mom, do you know why Ethan is crying?"
She hesitated, but then I noticed she was crying too.
"Yes sweetie. Your father has passed away."
I dropped the phone on the floor and tears fell down my face. All my memories with my dad flashed before my eyes.

| Alex's POV |
I went to school with a crowd of people following me everywhere.
Leah pulled me to the side looking around everywhere, "Alexandra Harris what is happening??"
"What do you mean?"
She wrinkled her brows, "neither Ethan or Grayson are here, and they both posted '💔' on Twitter. Something is going on."
"Oh, I have no clue. I am honestly kind of freaking out, because Grayson won't even answer when I call him. Neither will Ethan."
Wow, I miss him. I miss his warm hands, his eyes, everything.

Leah and I were at lunch and I wasn't eating, I felt out of my ordinary.
"Alex, your phone. It's vibrating."
I looked down to my phone sitting on the table, "ITS GRAYSON!"
I have never answered a phone so quickly.
I quickly started to speak, "Grayson? Are you ok??"
I could hear him sniffling, I think he was crying. His voice started to break, "baby..."
"Grayson cut to the chase what is going on I'm fucking worried!!"
He hesitated and continued to cry, my heart was breaking. "M- my- dad died Alex."
I covered my hand over my mouth and started to tear up. Leah looked at me and mouthed 'what is it?' But I just couldn't answer her.
"Oh my gosh. Do you want me to come over? I can leave school of you need me to. I'm here for you."
"No babe just finish the school day, you can see me after school. I don't want you to see me like this right now. Please just wait."
"Ok, I- I will. I love you."
"I love you too." He hung up.
I slowly set my phone down trying to let this sink in and think of what to do.
-
After lunch I roamed the halls with people making the worst comments at me.
"What did you do to the Dolans?"
"Did you ruin Grayson?"
The list goes on.
