| Alex's POV |

School was over and I went to Grayson's house to see how he was holding up.

I walked in the door to find him sitting on the coach on his phone in silence.

"Grayson?" I whispered.

He turned his head towards me and smiled wide, "come here."

I sat in his lap and looked at his sad eyes, "how are you feeling?"

"I'm holding up. Could be better, I'm just happy you're here."

I hesitated in saying what I was about to say. I didn't want to worry Grayson and bring more negativity towards him but I felt like he should know.

"Grayson, people at school think I have done something to you. Every since we started dating and you blocked other people out and now you and Ethan didn't come to school and didn't communicate with anyone they think it's all my fault. I don't know what to do."

A smirk smeared across his face, "we could just...run away?"

I smiled at him with the biggest smile I could ever create.

"You know we can't just run away from our problems right?"

"I would love to with you though."

"You're the only one I would run away with. We just have to figure things out."

"But Alex, I'm just a pool boy."

"Not to me..."
