Falling for you

It is Saturday and Cody was coming over to work on the project with me and I was really excited yet nervous I didn't know how he felt about me and when I kissed him on his cheek but I am really hoping that he wasn't offended or anything.

*Ding Dong*

It was the door bell. Heart stops as I run to the door as quickly as possible, Cody is there waiting for me and he has two coffees with him.

"Omg are you serious Cody, you didn't have to!"

"I figured I would just to wake you up."

"Thank you."

"No problem."

So we go up to my room to start working on the project and we get distracted and start asking each other questions about random things. I felt as if we were at a point where I could ask him about Beatrice:

"So that Beatrice girl..."

"Yah what about her?"

"Are you two like, dating or something??"

"Oh yah we are."

"How long have you guys been together?"

"About 2 years."

"Oh wow that's a long time!"

"Yah...what about you. Any relationships?"

"No..."

"Oh."

"Anyways lets get back to the project."

"Yah smart idea.." I felt torn inside at the fact that he had a girlfriend, but I feel like something is weird about the two of them. Oh well. Maybe I'll figure something out...

The weekend was finally over and Cody and I finished our project on Sunday and we both got an A+ on it. I was really happy about our grade. Beatrice on the other hand just gave her project to her partner and told him to do it instead. She got an F because her partner told Ms.Greenville what happened.

She was furious with him and she came over to my seat and leant right down in my face and said, "This is all you fault bitch! You got to partner with my boyfriend and get an A while I got an F, I should've gotten that A."

Then, I didn't even see it coming, but she punched me right in the face. I fell to the ground and I didn't hear much after that but I just heard everyone start to scream at her, and I heard Cody scream the loudest. I blacked out I guess, and woke up in the nurses office.

"What happened??"

"You got punched and blacked out."

The nurse spoke softly to me because she could tell that I had a really bad headache. The nurse said I could leave early, but I didn't have a ride home because the buses weren't coming for another hour so I was stuck at school with a really bad headache and a bruised eye.

An hour later we got let out and Cody gave me a ride home although his girlfriend was also in the car. She was being all lovey dovey with him while I was there and I could really care less I just wanted to go home and sleep. When I got home I decided although it probably wasn't the best idea to listen to music, but I did anyways. As I was listening to music I started to sing along with it. I never really thought about doing anything with vocal related jobs but a lot of people have told me that I have a good voice although I don't like to sing in front of people because I get shy about it. I start singing this one song that meant a lot to me. Then after I finish singing the song, I just hear this clapping from someone.

"Bravo, bravo. That was amazing Evelyn."I started freaking out because I realized I had butt-dialed Cody!

"Omg I'm so sorry I didn't realize I called you."

"No it's no biggy. I really enjoyed that btw."

"Really?!?"

"Yah it was really good!"

"oh thanks.."

"I never got to ask earlier, how's your head doing or eye?"

"Eh still hurts but I'll be fine thanks for asking."

"No problem, I don't j fees yams why she did that but yah I'm really sorry."

"No need for you to be sorry Cody, you didn't do anything."

"Are you sure? Because I still feel really bad."

"Yah positive."

"Ok I'll talk to you tomorrow Evelyn."

"Ok bye Cody."I hung up and felt closer to him now that he's heard me sing. Hopefully we continue to get closer without Beatrice in the way.
