•MACEY'S POINT OF VIEW•

The ambulance shook as the brake pedal screeched into the dusty gravel as they waited for the helicopter.

Those swirls of grey and faded black hissed at my eyes as I was unable to control my body. Unsure of what I was doing, thinking, feeling or saying; my life was unbearable. Well, I wasn't exactly living either.

•LOCKY'S POINT OF VIEW•

We noticeably saw the ambulance pull up metres in front as dad flicked on the tail lights and ran from the practically moving car that Liam pulled into the "Park" gear. Liam sped past my passenger side door to the stretcher that had our sister on life support as a helicopter became distant in the late morning fog on the district highway.

I reflected my emotions by sulking behind, but practically running multi taskingly. "Who's the family?" The nurse raised her voice around the sudden pick out of wind as the helicopter was slowly shifting the level of dust in our already reddened eyes. "My husband here, and my two sons." My mother replied coughing from the dust and point at my brother and I. "Get in, you're going to Sydney." And by those six words, we were gone; raised into the air with nothing beneath us but agony.

As I anxiously fiddled with my ray bans, the driver showed I.D, passing into the restricted parking space. "Ready to roll superstar?" My awkward acquaintance as in a rhetorical sense. "Yep, lets pretend I'm that love betraying, cocky arrogant vamp I'm known to be." I said unbuckling myself.

Wondering through the machine operated doors, I stood beside my co-worker as he flirtatiously offered his ID, again to enter the second door, west wing of the hospital. "Um..your ID is approved but your appearance at the hospital is told to be two hours from now.." The assistant said slowly looking up, tossing her strands of silky blonde hair in my direction. "Great plans, boss. Guess we'll have to wait." I said sarcastically ignoring the blondes beckoning. "Fine. I'll make a few calls, go sit in the west wing waiting room." I groaned and wondered to the wing.

The landing was noticeable, I groaned, attempting to roll over in the stretcher but my neck was pinned and stabilised so all I had was the roof of the helicopter. I was wheeled our as the placed me through what seemed like emergency.

I noticed people peering over me, mum, dad, lock, Liam. Then someone I never recognised made pondering footsteps as he rushed over.

For that one moment, a man with deep blue eyes that looked as though the ocean was searching for eternity looked at me. Me. No one else. His short black Hair shifted as he ran beside the stretcher, everyone was wearing a uniform. Except him.

Why was he here? Why with me? Who is he?

There was the black hole again, dissolving my sight.

It was an adrenaline rush. One minute I was glancing through the "Sunday Telegraph," the next a stretcher walked past. Thinking the patient came specially for me, I stood up and leaned over only to realise she was barely conscious, looking as though she was digging into my soul. The cart shifted, I decided to run for the first time in what seemed forever I chased something I never knew would become the beginning of everything. Her.
