Confidential Confessions

The plane shuddered closed as I wriggle uncomfortably between Ian and Candice, first class obviously yet unobviously uncomfortable. But it wasn't the airline cheap pillows that were straining my neck or the itchy leather seats making my legs swear wildly it was the guilt submerging within me. I ordered a strong alcoholic beverage and Waited to be served.

"I don't like you drinking Mace.." Ian says before intertwining our fingers. "I'm just worried.. Stressed..Strained." I groan before noticing Candice has collapsed into the chair asleep.

I thank the air hostess before sipping the strong liquor and placing It on the plastic bench. "Want to try it?" I offer nervously, my hands clammy.

"Sure." He says taking a sip before wincing at its bitterness and stoping it on the table. "How do you drink that stuff?" I laugh and rest me head on his shoulder, placing aside my concerns and confessions.

"Somethings not right." I hear before awaking from my sleepily doze. "What Ian?" I say mumbling into his tee shirt. "Your acting different. Strange." I shake my head before noticing a large island formation ahead outside Candice's windows. "Nothing's wrong okay." I state quickly before regretting my sudden reply. "Tell me." He says willingly.

"Later." I groan before the hostess alerts our landing in 10 minutes. His annoyed and frustrated state he turns his body away from me, leaving my head hanging and a sleep Candice.

"Ian don't do this." I pout shaking his shoulder to face me instead of across the hall. "Not until you tell me." I roll my eyes at his childish retort and turn to wake Candice up. "Candice..Psst.. Get up." I say as she wiped the corners of her eyes and sits up. "What's up grumpy bum?" She says directing it to Ian. "Macey is hiding something from me." She shoots me a glare recognising the immoderate confession I admitted to her only. "It's..not important right now." She says before shaking her head at me and turning to unbuckle herself from the plane flight.

I do the se and grab my over shoulder leather carry on bag through the crowd and exit through the left wing of the plane.

I turn to find Ian with his arms crossed over his chest standing in the middle of the hallway, people flooding past him. "Stop standing there Ian let's go!" I say enthusiastically as he stares at me contently. "Not until you tell me." My eyebrows furrow as I roll my eyes for the second time this trip.

"Not here okay later." I say before taking my next few steps off the plane. "There isn't a later until you tell me." He says as I groan twisting around to face him. "Stop being so goddamn frustrating! It's private, Candice is waiting in the airport god knows where and people are trying to get past now come on!" I snap harshly at him.

Without a word he stumbles past me and emerges into the busy Honolulu airport. Greeted with flower braids around our neck we silently find our luggage and Candice and prepare for the publicity outside. As if on cue, having done this repetitively Ian hands me his sunglasses an leads me outside to the car, past the flashing photography.

We leave our luggage for the driver to pack them and slide in the leather limo as three. Ian snaps his head to the window outside blatantly ignoring me.

"Stop playing this relentless endless game!" I moan complaining as his moody reaction. "It's not a game tone the one hiding something." Candice shivers before looking out the opposite tinted window.

"Ian please not in front of Candice." I beg as the driver pulls into ignition and drives down the next street to the hotel. As he pulls up in silence Candice acknowledges us goodbye leaving us in the car together as the man unpacks.

"Tell me now." He says through his gritted teeth.

"It's hard for me to-"

"I said tell me." He interrupts with his eyes blazing in desperation as he gazes into my guilt inflicted pupils.

"My motor bike riding and stuntts aren't just a hobby." I hint looking at him with tears swelling in my eyes.

"What? I don't understand? What the fuck does stunts and bikes have to do with anything?"

"God dammit Ian I'm a stunt actress, this whole fucking think was a stunt!" I scream looking at him before covering my hands over my mouth.
