<3 weeks later>
*Madison*
Darkness is all I can see, when the only person I want to see is Cameron. My mom is here and so is my uncle Jason, Ms. Callaway is too. I've tried to open my eyes but I can't, it's like they are glued shut. I've been able to move my hands and by doing that I strengthened my heart. I still don't know what happened. "Hey beautiful." I heard Cameron say. "It's been a month since the accident. Well a month and 3 weeks. Doctor Smith says you should wake up soon. I went back to the apartment today and picked up the mail and a letter from Alabama." He said, unwrapping something. "Dear Miss Reynolds, it is a pleasure to... Invite to you campus in the fall. Madison you got in." He said. I got in to my dream school. This is amazing. God I just want to wake up already.
<the next month>
*Cameron*
I lay on my bed with my eyes wide open. She got in. How am I going to let her go for two years, when I'm barely coping with 3 months. I heard my phone buzz on the side table. "Hello?" I answered. "Cameron, get down to the hospital now." Carter said into the phone. I hung up and put a pair of sweatpants on. I grabbed my phone and left the apartment. I got in my car and raced to the hospital. I ran into the lobby and up to Madison's room. Carter was standing in the waiting room with Kaity, Bailey, Abigail, Nash, Hayes, Matt, Jason, Ms. Reynolds, and the rest of MAGCON. "What's going on?" I asked. "She woke up." Bailey said. "She doesn't know who any of us are except Carter, Matt, her mom, Jason and Ms Callaway." Abigail said with tears streaming down her face. My eyes widened and I ran into her room. She looked at me with the same eyes she had when she saw me in Starbucks. "Who are you?" She asked. "Cameron, I'm your friend." I smiled. That killed me. "Oh hi Cameron, I'm Madison." She smiled. "Do you need anything like food or water?" I asked. "Can you answer a few questions for me?" She asked. "Sure, anything." I answered. "What happened to me? Like why am I here?" She asked. "You went to Alabama for a college road trip, when you got there you went to a party and when you came back, you got in a car accident. You were in a coma for 3 months." I said. "Oh. Were you with me when it happened?" She asked. "No I was here in LA but your friend Kaity was along with her friends." I answered. "Oh. One more question, are you the Cameron who gave me this ring?" She asked holding up her hand. I nodded and smiled at the memory of that night. "That means you weren't just my friend, you were my boyfriend. Because friends don't give friends promise rings." She smiled. "Yeah we were dating. I was in love with you, hell I still am. But you don't even know who I am." I said felling tears rolling down my face. "Hey don't cry, if you love me then don't stop, if you were sitting here and had no clue who I was I wouldn't give up." She smiled, letting some tears fall. I stood up and sat on the side of the bed as she scooted over. I laid beside her with my head on her chest. I felt her tap my head so I looked up at her. Then I felt the best feeling in the world. Her lips crashed on to mine creating sparks and fireworks and butterflies all at the same time. She pulled away and smiled. "Even though I can't remember you doesn't mean I can't love you." She said. I smiled at the thought of her remembering me again. "Get some sleep beautiful, we leave tomorrow." I said and she nodded.
<the next morning>
"So this is our apartment." I smiled showing her around the apartment. "Wow it's pretty big just for two people." She gasped. "Well I hoped one day that we would have more people living here but that's a conversation for another day." I kissed her temple. "So when do I leave for college?" She asked. "The end of August, it's April right now so about 4 months." I said sitting next to her. "What are we going to do during that time?" She asked. "I don't know what do you want to do?" I smiled. "I don't know" she smiled back. "Let's just watch a movie and be lazy today, we'll meet the boys tomorrow." I suggested and she nodded. I got a blanket and covered both of us up and turned on Big Hero 6. She would laugh at the funny parts and tear up at the sad parts. After a while her breathing steadied and small snores left her lips. I smiled and stood up, towering over her. I picked her up bridal style, to our bedroom. I put my shirt on her and laid her down in her spot. I crawled into bed beside her. As soon as I put my head in the pillow, I felt her arms wrap around me and her head snuggle into my chest. I smiled and let my self fall into a peaceful sleep.
<the next day>
Madison and I had just gotten to the mall to meet the boys. "So are you nervous?" I asked. "I meet most of them yesterday, I'm just afraid that I'll forget their names, except for Carter and Matt. Wait, Matt is his name, right?" She rambled. "Calm down, it's going to be just fine." I smiled kissing the top of her hand. She smiled and guided me to American Eagle. She grabbed some ripped jeans, crop tops and flannels. She went up to the cashier and paid. "Where to next?" She asked. "Well Carter just texted me and said they were at the food court so let's head there?" I said. "Let's go then." She smiled grabbing my hand. Madison was the kinda girl who didn't care what she looked like in from of other people. She looked beautiful with out the makeup and the expensive clothes. All she had on today was an aqua PINK shirt, black leggings, and white converses. Her hair was in a messy bun and she still looked absolutely stunning. I'm going to miss her so much when she's gone.

Even though I can't remember most of these boys, they are still my only family I have. I can hardly remember Cameron but I know he meant a lot to me so I'm going to make the best of it. "So Madison how are you?" I think his name was Gilinsky, asked. "I'm great. I'm just glad I got the hell out of that hospital." I laughed causing everyone else to do the same. For the longest time we talked and laughed but I noticed Cameron looking sort of pissed of. After we got home I decided to ask him about it. "Hey Cam, what's wrong?" I asked. "Why don't you go ask Gilinsky, ya know because you two are so damn close." He spit. "Woah! Calm down, I was just being nice, no need to get all worked up about it." I said. "Well when your girlfriend basically is asking a guy to fuck her, wouldn't you get worked up too." He yelled. Did he really just say that? "I cannot believe you just said that. I'm not slut Cameron, I love you and only you, but I guess you're to damn blind to see that." I scoffed running up the stairs. I locked my self in our room and sat beside the widow in the corner. I sifted through the cabinet and found a pencil sharpener with a lose screw. I fiddled with it until it came lose. I pulled the razor out and looked at it. I sliced it across my wrist twice and let the blood trickle down my arm. "Madison! Open the door!" Cameron called from outside. "No. I'm a slut remember." I yelled. "I didn't mean that, come on, please." I didn't answer I just went to the bathroom and washed up then got into bed. What's a promise ring supposed to mean when all you do is break the promises.
