Chapter 12:Cafe PISTōU

"She said what?"
"She said you guys hooked up. My gosh, this is the sixth time I said this to you."
"Wow she got really jealous. Well she has a reason to, I mean look at me."
I ignore his comment.
"Ya think?"
"I can't believe this. I bet she doesn't have a boyfriend she was just making it up."
"Thanks for stating the obvious, Sherlock. Let's also say some other obvious things: the sky is blue."
He rolls his eyes and says,"Well I don't know what to do now. I kinda never thought we would make it to this point so quickly."
I shrug and say," I don't know. Anything you wanna do."
He says," Do you wanna go out?"
My eyes widen but hen he says,
"For food, tomorrow Riley."
Haha. I knew that.
I say,"Yeah sure.
He smiles and says,"Ok, well we have to make Emily jealous by telling her about our 2 week anniversary."
I chuckle.
"Ok, Loverboy."
-December,Sunday(3rd week)-
"Hello?"
"Help me! I need an outfit now!"
"Riley, you have hundreds of clothes in your closet."
"Luanna I don't know what to wear."
She hangs up the phone and then 5 minutes later she's knocking on my door. I open the door and instead of saying hi, she walks straight past me and into my bedroom.

~10 minutes later~

•my hair style•

•my makeup•

I say,"Luanna you are my FairyGodMother ."
She laughs and says,"What is this for again?"
I sigh and say," Me and Loverboy are getting some food."
I hold my breath and prepare for her fangirling. Instead she just looks at me confused. Now I'm confused. Isn't she supposed to say I told you so? Instead she says," That's weird." I say,"What weird?" She says," That when you went out with Dylan you didn't change you stayed in the same outfit from school, but when your going out with James you change your outfit, hair, and makeup."
"So?"
"I just thought that Dylan was a person you wanted to get dressed up for. Well, at least you made it seem like it."
Before I could respond there is a knock on my door. I open it expecting James but instead it's Dylan. I say,"Oh hi, Dylan." He says," Wow, I didn't even ask you out yet and your already dressed up." I blush he says," So will you go on a second date, Riley?" He pulls out a rose and smiles. I sigh. Why? Why Jesus? Why does he come at the worst time? I say,"I'm sorry, Dylan. I have a fake date with my fake boyfriend." Ok maybe it's not a fake date, or a date at all but, if I tell him that I'm going out with my fake boyfriend but it's not for his girlfriend it's just to hang out, he is gonna think I don't like him and that I like James. Which is not true. I like him, but not even I would believe me. He says,"Oh. Well are you free tomorrow?" I say,"No I'm going Christmas shopping/dress shopping tomorrow with Luanna."  He looks sad but then he asks,"Monday?" I smile and say,"Yes I'm free then." He smiles and says,"Alright I will see you then." He walks away and I walk back inside. Luanna says,"That was Dylan right?" I nod and she just smiles at me. I give her the I'm-confused-I thought -you-didn't-like-him look, and she just shakes her head. 2 minutes later James is at my door and I wave bye to Luanna. I get into his car and ask,"So where are we going,Loverboy?" He smiles and says,"You'll see..." I roll my eyes and say,"Alright."
                     ~20 minutes later~
"Riley.."
I open my eyes and the first thing I see is James's face. He says,"We are here." He smiles and I smile back. I yawn and say,"Jeez I thought we were getting McDonald's, not driving across town." He laughs and says ,"Well close your eyes cause I want it to be a surprise. Hey that rhymed! I'm so smart."
Idiot.
Yeah I put my hands over my eyes and then I hear him say,"No peaking Riley!" I groan and say,"Fiiiinnnee." He leads me out of the car and I smell the salty air so I know we are by the ocean. He says,"Ok now you can look."

He says,"Welcome to Cafe PISTŌU."
