Aisaka bit her lips. "Sorry that I was late", Aisaka gripped unto the ground. "Better late than never", Erina forced a smile. "Dont kid like that", Aisaka held her wrist and looked at Gino. "There might be some other ways", Aisaka looked around. Erina dragged Aisaka's face back to her. "Just look at me right now. Aisaka, it was a good life. The only thing I will regret is that I wont be able to see you for a longer period of time. It's a thing a lot of people dont know, you are very honest. Your hardworking are so honest and unselfish", Erina commented. "Erina", Aisaka called out. Erina held Gino's hand. "I am entrusting Aisaka to you. Thank you for being my partner. In other worlds, I will be glad if I meet you again. Let me rest now", Erina smiled at him. "I will search for the entirety to find you", Gino squeezed her hand. Aisaka lowered her head. "Smile, Aisaka. I want you to send me off with a smile", Erina requested. Aisaka smiled with tears falling from her left eye. Erina breathed her last and death took her away. Gino gasped and burrowed his face on his lap. Fushimi was sent back to them. He received a fatal flow from Asahi. Aisaka stood up and wiped her tears. Portion of her hair turned to whitish grey. She turned around and drew her scythe. She saw the other Kings are being pushed back. "So, you already knew the difference between me and you", Asahi asked. Reishi slashed Asahi's minnion. "One down", Asahi just sighed. "Is that I wont feel pain. I no longer feel pain", Asahi chuckled. He released great amount of flame that paralyzed almost everyone. "Now, its me and you again", Asahi smirked. Aisaka looked around and saw her comrades covered in wounds. Aisaka also released great amount of black flame. Gino stood up. "If you do that", Gino held his stomach. The gold flame barrier and getting destroyed. "Retreat", Aisaka shouted as she looked at Reishi. They made distance to their opponents. Yukari scattered green flame that acted as camouflage. The rest already escaped. Asahi found Aisaka and grabbed her neck. Gino stabbed Asahi's hand. The green flame already disappeared. It was only the three of them. "Gino", Aisaka called. "I told Erina that I will protect you till the last drop of my blood", Gino smiled. He pushed her to the ground. Fushimi came back and carried Aisaka in his arms. Aisaka struggled to stop Fushimi but they are already in the Scepter's van. "Fushimi-san, I wont leave Gino again", Aisaka tried to leave but the Colorless King held her wrist. Fushimi smiled and closed the van.
"I know"...
Aisaka lip read Fushimi's statement. The van left the place. Fushimi went back to the warehouse and saw Asahi chocking Gino to death. He used his black flame. Asahi lets him go. "What are you doing here? You have to stay with her. You're someone irreplaceable for Aisaka", Gino lectured. "You are also irreplaceable, idiot", Fushimi drews his sabers. " oh, a multi user", Asahi chuckled. Fushimi used his flames to create a barrier just as how Reishi, Anna , and Weisman did before. Asahi squinted and tried to escape. He got his skin burnt. Fushimi assisted Gino to stand.
They went far from Tokyo since the Prime Minister banned them. It was believed that it was their fault for the weird phenomenon at Tokyo. They retreated at Yaeyama. Kusanagi already hired a wide laboratory room and a building at Yaeyama.
New Headquarter...
Erina's body is still on the laboratory. Weisman examined her body for some hints how to stop Asahi and how to stop Aisaka's fate. Reishi and Awashima are coordination rescue mission for the rest of the Scepter 4's member. Anna and Kusanagi are also contacting the rest of the Homra to travel to Yaeyama. The rest are tending their wounds. Aisaka sulks at the beach and sits at the sands. "Aisaka, Weisman is looking for you", Nami called her attention. "Arent you amazed of the sunset", Aisaka pointed the sun. Nami sat beside her. "It's indeed a wonderful sight", Nami commented. "Sorry for being rude to you", Nami apologized. "I deserved that", Aisaka chuckled. "Man... I busted all the plans and now we are here treated as rebels of the country", Aisaka sighed. "It will all pass", Nami encouraged. "It's my first time to talk to you like this", Aisaka tilted her head and looked at Nami. Nami gulped and averted her eyes. "Do I look like a mutated rabbit?", Aisaka asked. "You look wonderful...and hurting inside", Nami answered. "Fushimi-san really hates veggies, he has watermelon scented shampoo, he sleeps early and wakes up late, he rarely talk to other girls, he already knows how to say sorry and thank you, and he waited for you", Nami reported. "Why are telling that to me?", Aisaka asked. "Those were the time you could have spent with him", Nami answered. "But it's not too late...there is still time right?", Nami retured her stares to the King. Aisaka smiled. "So please trust him..that he'll come back", Nami begged. "I do trust him. He was the one who taught me how to do it", Aisaka stood up and stretched. "That's why, I'll be waiting", Aisaka looked at the horizon. "Nami, take care of Fushimi", Aisaka said then left.
Aisaka went back at the building and saw Fushimi and Gino at the door. Both are covered in dirt and wounds. Aisaka went to hug Gino and burrowed her face on his chest. "Sorry", Aisaka gritted her teeth. "You've heard what Erina said. Back then, I just thought of it as a game. That's when Erina entered the picture. Thank you for letting me spend the remaining time with her", Gino raised Aisaka's head and smiled.
