A/N: I don't know how bars work please don't sue me.

I watched as the petite blue-haired girl moved from the bar to her group of friends. A blonde and a pink-haired boy, the blonde was leaning into his arms. A red-haired woman and a navy-haired male that were talking, a smirk on both their faces. The blue-haired girl looked single, and she moved confidently, yet still looked timid. I knew that walk.

I had spotted her about ten minutes ago as she walked in with her friends, her steps precise and steady. She had locked eyes with me, and given me a small 'I-shouldn't-be-here' smile. I had tipped my head in return, my long black hair hiding half of my face. I immediately knew what I wanted. Her.

Her blue-hair was pixie cut, a ribbon tied around it so her bangs wouldn't get in her eyes. Her eyes were intelligent, warm, and confident, and a striking brown. She trailed everywhere after he friends, but I could tell that anywhere else, she would be the leader.

Our eyes locked again as she stepped carefully around her friends, and she smiled. I was honestly confused. I had thought she'd wait until I came over, but here she was, heading straight for me. She was moving easily and stealthily through the tangle of bodies that was the dance floor, her small willowy stature helping her now. I honestly enjoyed watching her move. It was a great sight.

She finally got through the dance floor, her eyes still locked on mine, and I realized we'd both been looking each other up and down.  I could tell she wanted something from me, but I couldn't tell just what it was.

"Hi, Tall-Dark-And-Handsome." Her voice was smooth like caramel. I wondered if her mouth tasted the same. I shifted at the nickname. I didn't deny it. I was certainly was tall, my hair was black, accounting for the dark, but handsome? With this many piercings people thought of me as mildly attractive at best. Not a one had ever chosen the word 'handsome'.

"And what might your name be, pixie?" I retorted, and she smirked back at me, but her eyes told me I was playing with fire.

"Aha, funny. Lacks originality. Levy, yours?" She did not waste time with needless words, did she?

"Gajeel. No one's ever called me handsome before with this many piercings, though." I commented, and her smirk became a smile.

"I happen to like a rugged man. And I may or may not have a kink for that." She added the second part offhandedly, but a kink? I hadn't guessed her as a kinky type. She looked to me like a vanilla type of girl.

"And I happen to like pixies." I retorted my smirk becoming a grin. She gave me a strange look that melted into excitement. For what, I wasn't sure.

"I am too drunk for this right now." She blurted, but did not look at all embarrassed that she'd said it.

"Drunk?" I asked, my smirk melting into a smile of amusement. "You had one drink." She got this pleased look on her face when I said that.

"Pleased to know you were looking." She commented. Touche.

"Ever since you walked through the door." I replied and she blushed.

"Cute."

"You're cute." I complimented and she looked me right in the eyes at that one.

"No I'm not.

"Yes you are." I retorted. This was by far the most interesting thing to happen to me this week.

"Fight me." That was adorable, coming from her.

"I would, but I don't hit girls."

"Sweet of you." She replied, flashing me a bright smile.

"I'm just wondering how sweet you are."

"Do you have no shame?" She snorted, covering her mouth with her hands.

"None whatsoever." I answered, watching her friends come over to retrieve her. As the pink-haired boy got closer, I recognized him. "Wait, are you friends with Natsu Dragneel?" I asked, motioning to the group. She looked, nodding.

"Yep. Been friends with him since last year, when him and his girlfriend, my best friend, started dating." She answered, shrugging.

"Didn't peg you as the type to be friends with Natsu." I commented. She laughed.

"I didn't peg myself to be that type of girl either, but look at me now."

"Hey! Gajeel, my man! I didn't know you would be here tonight!" Natsu exclaimed, giving me a fistbump. Lucyu waved from her spot on Natsu's other arm. She looked completely content with her spot, and Natsu's body language told me he had no intention of letting her go so soon.

"This is Erza and her boyfriend Jellal." Lucy introduced the two that were standing off to the left. I nodded my head at each of them, which they returned.

"I thought Juvia and Gray were going to be here by now." Levy spoke up, speaking to Lucy. Lucy shrugged.

"They probably blew us off for a cuddle night." Lucy sighed.

"Yeah, that's it." Levy responded before turning back to me. "Can I get your number so we can talk again?" I blinked in surprise before reaching into my pocket for my phone, handing it to her once I had it.

"And...done." She exclaimed before handing it back to me.

"Do you need my number?" I asked, and she shook her head. My expression probably got weird because she giggled, her brown eyes sparkling under the limited lights.

"No, I texted my phone with yours, so you should already have a conversation and everything"

"Thanks"

"So, see you around, Gajeel?" Levy asked, and I nodded. She winked at me before twirling on her heel and leaving with her friends.

I hate to see her go, but I love to watch her leave...

To be continued...

I love these two! <3
