Luke was still in rehab, with his mother visiting every other day, and sometimes Calum when he could, Luke was content with where he was right now. He was getting help and though he could feel the itch in his arms of wanting to use again, he felt good.

When Luke left his therapy session, he was told he had a visitor, so he headed to the main desk, "Hey I was told I had a visitor." Luke said.

"Yeah, he's waiting over there." The nurse said, pointing over to where the main seating was. Luke turned and walked over, seeing Ashton. Luke grinned and walked over, tapping his shoulder. Ash turned to him and grinned.

Ash stood up and hugged Luke tightly, Luke smiling at the scent of Ashton and the warmth of his hug. They sat down at the table, Luke grabbing the game of scrabble from a nearby empty table. They started to play silently, not caring about the scores. Ashton glanced at Luke, seeing he looked healthier and happier.

"So," Ashton said, "about that date."

Luke looked up, "yeah?"

"You want to go on one?"

Luke smiled, "Sure." His smile faltered, "I'm sorry I said no last time."

"Why did you?"

"I was scared, you're older than me and older men usually screw me over." Luke said, "plus I had Faye and I wanted to make that work, and there was Michael." His voice went quiet at the mention of Michael.

"Are you okay?" Ashton asked.

Luke shrugged, "I was raped by multiple people, I'll take my time getting better. I will be one day." He smiled softly.

"It's progress." Ashton said; glancing at Luke's wrists and seeing a tally there. Luke's tally was up to thirty-six, since he'd woken up at the hospital. "I'm happy you're doing better."

When Ashton had to leave, Luke walked him as far as he was allowed to. They stopped in front of one another, Luke looked up at Ashton, "you'll visit again soon right?"

"I will," Ashton leant down and kissed Luke's forehead, taking his hand and squeezing it. "I'll come soon."

"Thank you." Luke smiled, letting Ashton leave the rehab centre.
