"Hey guys!" Audrey greeted Ava and I with quick hugs into her and James' house.

They've only lived here for a little over a year, so I enjoyed the fresh paint scent as I walked in her neatly organized living room.

"We brought the milk and eggs." I exclaimed as I traveled through the living room towards the kitchen

"Oh thank you, but here let me." Audrey extended a hand to take the milk Ava carried in a bag.

"No, you're fine. Ava's got it." I laughed and blocked Audrey from taking the gallon of milk from Ava hands.

Audrey sighed and shook her head, "I'm pregnant, not crippled Jeslyn."

"Don't blame me, it's you're silly husband who doesn't want you to do stuff." I pointed out, as I put away the groceries then walked into the laundry room by the fridge. "He's right, you need to take it slow."

"James can be so dramatic, especially since he does work in medicine." Audrey laughed. "I'm totally fine."

"Oh yeah, how is he doing in Castle Pharmaceuticals anyway?" I wondered.

James is literally the perfect older brother, and took care of me throughout Mom and Dad's death when I was in highschool. Once he finished his phd in the university of Georgia, he married Audrey, bought a house and started his job. I stayed with James and Audrey until last year when started taking business and marketing classes in college.

"Good actually, I think he might even get a promotion soon!" Audrey answered. "That's crazy because he's only worked there for almost 3 years now.

"Oh wow, that's amazing! Although their Pharmacies are pretty sketchy." Ava pointed out emphasizing to their conspiracies.

"Ava, first of all, half of those conspiracies theories are ridiculous and the other half don't even have evidence." I informed. "You need evidence to take em down Ms. Lois Lane."

"Well, something has to be going on." Ava commented. "I am going to find out one day."

I heard Audrey burst out in laughter then said, "As long as it doesn't effect James, Ava."

"You guys are so sarcastic, I will be a great reporter one day." Ava stuck out her tongue in defeat.

"Where is the dirty laundry basket James told me about?" I questioned in giggles from the laundry room to Audrey. "I don't see it."

"Oh, I already washed the clothes, they're already folded on my bed." Audrey responded, and walked towards the living room to sit down. "Really, you don't have to do anything else guys."

"You did that laundry basket?" I questioned upset. "I was supposed to do that for you Audrey."

"You're supposed to be taking it easy, you're eight months pregnant!" Ava exclaimed behind Audrey. "You could pop any second now!"

"Calm down, I'm good, the baby's good, we're all good." Audrey assured. "No one's popping anytime soon!"

"I can't believe you're doing everything James told you not to do." I snorted sarcastically as I walked toward the stove. "Yeah, James is totally overreacting."

"I am totally capable, silly kids." Audrey laughed.

"What do you want to eat?" I asked.

"You suck at cooking, no offense Jes." Ava commented. "I'll make the dinner."

"Actually Spaghetti sounds great right now." Audrey calls from the living room.

"Awesome!" Ava exclaims. "I'll get started on it."

I walked into the living room and sit by Audrey while Ava pulled out the spaghetti ingredients from the cupboard, totally getting into her zone.

"So have you gone ot with any guys lately Jes?" Audrey asked curiously.

"Yesterday, Jes and I totally bumped into the Scott brothers." Ava called from the kitchen. "They were totally checking us out."

    "Really?" Audrey gasps.

    "Oh man, don't remind me."

    "Details! What happened?" Audrey questions.

"Aaron Scott, totally fell on top of me." I groan, feeling my cheeks heat up.

"Well duh, you are gorgeous, but what happened."

I laughed at her confusion. "No Audrey, he actually collapsed on top of me, and we fell on the sidewalk."

"Jeslyn! That's insane!" Audrey exclaimed.

"Yeah, it was goofy." I realized then questioned her. "Are you and James going to the Summer Festival?"

Before she answered, we both glanced into the kitchen, obviously noticing the savory aroma. My stomach growled at the thought of eating at this point.

"No actually, I know the whole town is going... But James works this weekend." Audrey responded.

"Dinner's almost ready!" Ava called.

"Great, I'm starving! James should be getting home soon to eat." Audrey answered.
