Chapter 1.

"GRACE! wake up" my brother yelled. "madison is here to see you!"

my eyes shot wide open, oh my god madison is here. madison beer is my best friend, I've known her for ages now, since we were 14 years old so we've known each other for 5 years now, this year we will be turning 19. we met when I came to california on a holiday and I bumped into her, I kind of freaked out cos I loved her music so much so I fangirled just a bit, but she is the most down to earth person that I know, when I went back to Australia her and I kept in touch, (my family is British so I have an English accent but I lived in Australia).

her and I are like two peas in a pod, she is my other half. she knows all my secrets that no one else knows about.

"MADISOOOOON" I yelled running down the stairs.

"GRACEEEEY" Madison screamed as she ran towards me and gave me a running hug.

"I'm so happy to see you Mads"

"me too, ah I've missed you so much, how have you been?"

"I've been ok, I'm getting better" I said reassuringly.

recently I just moved to Los Angeles from Australia to pursue my dream of modelling. I'm very happy that I have left Australia, I moved here by myself, and left my mom back in Australia, here and I aren't very close, when her and my dad split up she told me that I was not to keep in touch with my dad, but whatever that's a different story, madison and my brother are the only people that know the full story, but it stings quite a bit.

"aw grace, as long as everything is getting better and you are feeling better" madison said whilst hugging me.

"yeah I guess, oh well shall we head out for some breakfast?"

"of course, leh'go" madison pointed towards the door.

"ok just give me 15 minutes, I need to get ready" I said to mads as I began walking up stairs to my bedroom.

I threw on some high waisted denim shorts and a cute little crop top from topshop, and some white converse ankle boots. I let my hair loose in its natural waves , my hair is a light brown colour and I have brown eyes and tan coloured skin.

I went down stairs and madison and I were on our way to get some breakfast.

"hey babee" madison answered her phone.
