Chapter 11.

I looked at my sweaty, gross self in the mirror.
"a shower is definitely in need." I said softly to myself.
I took off each item of clothing that was stuck to my sweaty body and dropped it on the floor. I walked over to the shower and turned it on and waited for the water to heat up. I went up to the mirror and started noticing how tired I was looking from my run. thank goodness that I didn't stop and make conversation with Justin looking like this - oh my word, am I really starting to worry what I look like around someone who I barely know.


I stepped into the shower and stood there letting the water softly trickle over my bare body. I ran my fingers through my hair letting my hair absorb all the water. my bathroom was all steamy because the heat of the water.
I wiped the window that looked over the hills of Los Angeles. wow I really am so lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
I got the soap and started to clean myself, got my shampoo and then started cleaning my hair. I have 30 minutes left to get ready until they arrive, "I'm definitely going to be late to my own little get together" I whispered to myself whilst rinsing my hair. I turned the shower off, got out the shower and wrapped a towel around my body and put my hair in a towel so it can dry.
I walked inside my closet and looked at my clothes pondering about what I could wear, I mean, it's not like I want to impress any of the boys but I don't want to look like a slob, you know?


I picked a flowy white high waisted skirt which was crocheted at the bottom, the skirt stopped midway of my thighs, I threw on an oversized sweater that I got from Target that was almost a maroon color that stopped midway of my stomach and I put on some tan colored sandals. I got my hair dryer out and started to dry my hair until I heard some voices downstairs. oh shit, it was them. I'm not even ready yet! I quickly finished drying my hair and went over to my dressing table to do my makeup, I out my base on and then I just put some mascara on. I looked at myself in the mirror making sure that I look presentable.


I walked downstairs and made my way to the kitchen where I saw madison getting some sweet tea out of the refrigerator and pouring it into a jug.
"are they here?" I don't know why I just asked that, I clearly heard their voices.
"yeah, they are, can you get some glasses out?" madison replied with a very concentrated look on her face as she didn't want to spill the sweet tea.
"ok let's go" she said making her way to the patio. I followed behind her holding 5 glasses trying not to drop them.
I walked outside to find the 3 boys there making conversation among themselves.
"here you go!" madison and I said in unison.
their heads turned to us and I gave them a smile.
"hey guys!" I said, making my way to hug each of them.
"oh so now you decide to talk to us?" Justin said jokingly.
"oh uhm yeah uhm sorry about that," I said embarrassingly.
"what's this about?" madison asked.
"well your girl here was on her run and justin tried to talk to her and she shut him down and ran inside" za exclaimed.
"I just didn't want to talk to you guys busy looking all sweaty!" I defended putting on some puppy eyes looking at Za so he would forgive me.
"nah grace it's cool! I was just joking anyway, we aren't mad!" za said giving me a pat on the shoulder.


"so what movies are we going to watch?" madison asked Justin.
Justin decided that he wanted to chose the movies for tonight.
"we have Identity Thief, Paranormal Activity 4, 21 & Over and Hangover 3!" Justin replied holding the DVDs in his hand.
he's actually really good looking I mean, I'm not going to lie to you, he has such an angelic look about him.
"uhm Grace, what do you want to watch?" Justin asked me.
"uhm how about Identity Thief?" I suggested.
"yeah, that's my favorite" he said looking at me with a smile on his face. I smiled back at him and we started making our way inside my house to the movie room.
there were 4 rows of chairs with 5 big lazy boy chairs in each row.
we all sat on the same row, it was Justin, Ryan, Madison, me and then Za. the movie started playing and then I heard madison start giggling, then I heard some kissing noises, and then I heard more giggling and then I heard more kissing noises.
oh my word I can't do this, I thought to myself as I made my way to the 2nd row, so I could be free of the PDA and watch the movie without any distractions.
10 minutes later I see someone walking towards me and sitting down next to me, I didn't know who it was because it was so dark until he started speaking to me.
"you left cos of the sounds they were making as well huh?" Justin said chuckling lightly.
"yeah, it was quite awkward!" I said looking at him giggling.
I looked back to see Za wasn't there either, he moved to the row in front of them so he could lie down and watch the movie.
"so I don't really know you that well" Justin said breaking the silence, "I mean we will be seeing each other quite often, I think we should at least get to know each other." Justin carried on saying.
"yeah, we should!" I said with my eyes still on the big screen but with a half smile.
"so why didn't you stop and talk to me today?"
oh shit...
"oh uhm well I didn't want to talk to you looking the way I did" I said.
"so you're saying that you care about your appearance in front of me?" Justin smirked.
"uhm, I don't know" I giggled lightly, mentally punching myself in the face.
"well don't worry, you look really pretty now!" Justin said reassuring me.
"thanks." I smiled with my eyes still on the screen.


as the movie finished, we looked behind us and saw that Za was sleeping and madison was sleeping and Ryan was looking quite sleepy but still awake.
"hey bro, I think we should go" Ryan said yawning.
"oh ok" Justin replied.
Ryan kissed Madison on her forehead and brought the blankets up to keep her warm, he then made his way over to Za to wake him up.
I walked the boys to the door and was saying goodnight to all of them.
"night Ry, night Za, night Justin, thanks for coming"
"thanks for having us" Justin said smiling at me, he gave me a hug and stepped out the door standing on my driveway with Za and Ryan.
"see you tomorrow grace!" the 3 said together.
"ok see you" I said waving goodbye. as I closed the door to my house I saw Justin looking behind at me, as I caught his eye, a half smile crept on his face.
