Chapter 12.

I walked back into the movie room to see that madison was awake and had an eager look on her face,

"oh so you're awake?!" I asked rhetorically.

"clearly!" she said with her mouth wide open as she yawned, "so, grace, you and Justin?" she asked with a smirk on her face.

"what you mean?"

"well you and him were getting awfully cosy tonight?" she smirked at me again.

"no, nothing happened - we just both couldn't handle yours and Ryan's sound effects.." I teased her.

"oh shut up" she said hiding her face away in embarrassment.

"well, grace, I hope you know, Justin thinks that you are extremely pretty and he didn't come sit next to you for no reason tonight." madison added as she made her way out the door to her bedroom.

what the hell? I hardly know him, why would she say that?

"madison! I'm going for a jog ok?"

"what the hell grace it's so early!"

"uhm it's actually 10am! wake up sleepy head!" I said as I ran out of the house and made my way for my run.

I started thinking about what madison said last night, why would Justin even like me? I've only met him about 3 times. I will admit though, he is very good looking but I don't know him well enough to like him and he doesn't know me well enough to like me so madison is just joking around or something.

as I was running up my street back to my house I saw Ryan, Justin and Za playing basketball outside Justin's house together. Justin put a basketball net outside his driveway so they could play.

"ok grace, I can't ignore them every time I see them whilst I'm taking a run!" I reminded myself as I made my way to my house.

"hey guys! what's up?" I asked.

"oh hey grace! not much, just playing around, you jut went for a run?"

"yeah I did!"

"well at least you didn't ignore us this time" za added to the conversation whilst laughing.

"oh Za you're so funny oh my word hahaha!" I said sarcastically, even though I actually found Za quite hilarious.

"so how was your run?" Justin asked smiling at me.

"it was, uhm, tiring, I guess," I smiled back at him, "ok I'm gonna head inside I'll see you guys around ok?"

"yeah sure, bye grace!" they said in unison.

as I turned my back towards them and started making my way towards my driveway, a voice caught my attention.

"oh uhm grace!"

I turned around to see that it was justin talking to me.

"oh yeah?" I asked wondering what it was he wanted to say.

"the guys and I are going for dinner tonight, would you and madison like to come?"

"yeah sure! just text me the time and place ok?"

"ok sure! see you" he said with an all too genuine smile.

"grace!" madison shouted impatiently at me, "you need to look good, I know that you don't like him but you might as well make yourself look really good so that he can be interested, justin is such a great guy, maybe you and him could have something going on." madison carried on whilst looking through my closet for something that I could wear.
