Chapter 13-Lesbian?

Bridget had a baby boy last night. They named him Anthony Max Brooks and he was so cute everything was fine, she had a healthy delivery and she was really happy. The pushing itself was something I really didnt wanna try. It looked quite painful and apparently it rips your vagina. Ewww!

I was currently in my office preparing for an emergency staff meeting. I was gonna let my employees know they had a secure job that way I wouldn't get anyone sucking up to me constantly.

A knock came on my opened door and I saw Jamie Leighton, my PA standing there.

"Yes Jamie?" I asked her expectantly.

" The staff is waiting for you, I have all your files ready for your 10 o clock appointment and your conference call has been moved up to 1 pm " she stated while handing me a folder with her completed work.

"Thank you Jamie. After I address the staff you can have the morning off. I will need you for my conference call though so you can return for that time" I informed quickly as I gathered my stuff to address the staff.

"Thanks you Ms.Brooks" she replied happily.

"Goodmorning everyone, it has come to my knowledge that having a

new manager can bring about changes such as new employees. I would just like everyone to know that I'm not removing anyone from their current position. I have no need to fire anyone. From what I have observed you all work rather well. So please continue your hard work. Thank you" I said before dismissing them. At that time I heard over 400 relief sighs. I smiled myself pleased that they are now comfortable that they would still have a job by tomorrow.

After my 10 o clock appointment I was tired. A French car company wanted us to ship over 100 vehicles to the south of France by next Friday. They were paying big money to get the shipping done quickly. Which was good for us but it was tiring paper work.

"Knock knock Ms.Brooks" Jamie's voice boomed through my office.

"Jamie, your back early" I commented on her presence.

"Early? It's now twelve" she argued looking at her watch.

"And plus I brought you lunch since I knew you wouldn't go for lunch" she stated matter of factly while rolling her eyes.

"Oh, yay what did you bring, I'm starving" I asked excitedly really hungry.

"Chopped lobster with rice in creamed sauce " she said while dropping a medium sized box on my desk.

"Remind me to give you a day off, your a life saver. I was getting ready for the conference called" I said sadly. Damn I loved food. I dug in quickly literally swallowing my food whole.

Jamie had excused herself to eat her lunch in her office which was great because I didnt want her to see me eat like an animal.

As I was finished my delicious meal a knock came on my door, I looked up to see Matthew.

"Hey, how's everything going?" he asked why stepping in to the office.

"Hi. Everything is great" I piped kind of happy to see him.

"Good. So is it a girl or a boy?" he asked suddenly.

I watched him, my heart stopping. He knows that I'm pregnant? What the?

"Excuse me?" I asked trying to give myself time to make up a lie.

"Last night? The baby? The hospital?" he quizzed hinting what he was talking about.

"Or! The baby! Yes well she had a boy. Anthony Brooks" I whipped happily remembering how cute he was, so small.

"Oh. That's nice so are you excited to be a mom?" he asked through embarrassed glances at me.

"A mom? I'm not one yet" I muttered.

"So you are not a lesbian? Like that Bridget is not umm your girlfriend well fiancee?" he asked confused.

I watched him shocked. Lesbian ? Are you serious? Me a lesbian? I began to laugh.

"Me? A lesbian? I'm far from being that way!" I said through giggles.

"Oh but the baby has your last name?" he asked trying to understand me.

"Right! The baby is my brother's kid" I stated.

"Oh" he said realizing how he was mistaken.

"Ms.Brooks we have the conference call now" Jamie came in interrupting

"Alright, I'm coming. I got to go" I said to Jamie then the later to Matthew.

I was still laughing at Matthew accusations. Lesbian? Me? I'm pregnant . Lesbians cant do that right? Matthew kept surprising me with his assumptions.
