Getting Comfortable

2 Weeks Later

Kenny

"Good Afternoon muthafuka! Didn't think you would see me again"! I turned around and in front of me stood some random guy. "Uh I think you got the wrong person"! "Naw bruh I'm the guy you punched in the club over that hoe"! The guy yelled.

"Oh. I apologize". I reached my hand out but the guy smacked it away. "Apology my ass boy Im from Glenwood and everybody from Glenwood know GM don't play"! The guy yelled.

"Well GM we just had a misunderstanding so just cool it". "Naw cuz won't be nun of that bitching up shit". GM pulled out a gun and pointed it at me.

"Well if you shoot me you better kill me because if you don't I will find you and finish you".

GM smiled at me then pulled the trigger hitting me in the shoulder. I leaned over and held my shoulder. Then I looked up and charged at him.

GM fell and the gun slipped out of his hand. I quickly started punching him in the stomach and face. I got up stomped him a couple of times and walked off.

I quickly got in my vehicle and called up some of my homies.

"Why every time I'm in your neck of the woods you always call me"? Do Dirty asked me laughing. "Hell I don't know but look I need you to help me patch up a wound". "Nigga I know you didn't let Toni little ass murk you"?! Carlos yelled through the phone.

"No I got into it a couple of weeks ago with this clown and we just saw each other then he shot me in the shoulder".

"Well Keisha can do a little some some". Carlos said. "Keisha? Keisha can't do nothing but braid and talk shit"! Carlos argued back. "Chill she is a CNA or some shit like that so you know come through". Carlos said and then the phone hung up.

At Carlos House

"This is going to burn a little bit". Keisha said pouring peroxide in the hole. "Ah. A little my ass". I screamed in pain. "Aw man by the looks of it he was close range on you". Victor said. "Yeah he was".

"I'm so proud of you"! Do Dirty yells out with tears rolling down his face. "You're the most emotional gangster I've ever met".

"Every 4 hours change the bandage and clean the wound. Come back in 2 weeks and I'll take the stitches out". Keisha smiled while smoking a cigarette.

Tiffany

I looked at the clock and headed downstairs. I decided that I was going to cook dinner tonight for the family. Kenny normally cooks dinner tonight but this is the least I could do.

The lasagna was baking in the oven and I had just got done making the salad when Kenny came home.

"You can cook"? Kenny asked me suspiciously. "I can a little bit". I said smirking. "Well thank you I've had a very long day". Kenny sat down on the counter.

"What to talk about it"? "Well no and yes". Kenny said breaking eye contact with me. "It can't be that bad". "Well I got shot by that punk from the club". Kenny sighed.

"WHAT"! "Yeah he shot me in the shoulder but I'm okay". Kenny said showing me the wound. "I'm so sorry Kenny". "It's cool but don't tell Toni". Kenny said hoping off the counter.

Toni

"You guys finish up your homework and in a hour be down for dinner. Kenny where are"? I yelled walking upstairs. As I walked into my bedroom Tiffany was sitting on the bed and Kenny was coming out of the bathroom fixing his shirt.

"Hey cousin"! Tiffany squealed. "Can you excuse us for a moment Tiffany". I said calmly looking at Kenny. Tiffany left and I closed and locked the door behind her.

"What's wrong"? Kenny asked turning to ESPN. "Oh so what I just walked in on was a normal thing"? "You can't be serious right now". Kenny said laughing. I stood up straight and put my hands on my hips. Kenny quickly stood up and walked towards me.

"Baby it's not what you think". Kenny tried to wrap his hands around me but I pushed them away. "So what were you talking about"? "Life". Kenny looked off and sighed.

"Who's life? Your life? Her life? My life? Y'all life....together"! "Please don't start with some stupid shit stop being ridiculous and immature". Kenny said walking away. "Don't walk away from me"! I said jumping in front of the bedroom door.

"Move I don't want to argue Tone". Kenny yelled. "No I will not! I don't like this new you and you need to get yourself together pronto". I yelled poking Ken in the chest.

Kenny looked at me with so much pain and anger in his eyes. Then he grabbed my wrist really tight.

"Ken let me go you're hurting me"! I yelled in pain. Kenny let me go and walked out on the balcony. I looked at my wrist to see it really red and purple.

Kenny

I stood out on the balcony looking at the skyline. "I can't believe things got that out of control". I walked back into the room and saw Toni had packed some of her things.

"Baby I'm sorry I didn't mean to grab you like that". Toni said nothing she just continued to pack. "I'll do anything, I'll sleep in another room and give you space just don't leave". "I'll be at my parents house". Toni said putting on her shades.
