A/N This is in Leopard's point of view. DON'T COMPLAIN.

Leopard spun around, whipping her tail into a guard's head. The guard fell back, rubbing his head with his talons. "Ow," he said.

Leopard paused for a moment, flapping her wings, then whizzed over to a clearing that was by the cave. It will have to do. I don't like how close we are to the others, but somethings just cannot be helped.

Just as she planned the guards followed her, their blue and green scales shimmering in the sunlight. As they neared her, she was about to whip her strong tail into all of them at once, but a shining, yellow SandWing came up behind the royal guards and rammed into two of them. They flew across the clearing, rolling across the ground. He didn't use his poisonous barb, which was smart. He isn't one to kill. Good to know.

With three still coming, Leopard continued her plan and spun into them. She tripped on a rock and spun awkwardly to face the enemy. She couldn't avoid in time, and felt the tip of the spear graze her ear. That was too close. Too close for comfort. She thought. I need to be more careful.

She turned and slashed out with her talons, leaving imprints on their exposed underbelly. She didn't claw too hard—she didn't want to kill them—but enough to send them back to the kingdom reporting that they couldn't defeat the "enemy." I can't believe Queen Echo wants me dead. I didn't do anything to her- It wasn't my fault Atlanta disappeared.

Leopard remembered such close family Atlanta and Echo were. Ever since Atlanta, her and Quill's mother, disappeared, Echo has set out to kill Leopard. She went mad after Atlanta vanished—not that she wasn't already insane—it wasn't the kind of mad that she kills or torments everyone, but the kind where someone fears their power will be taken away. She was a good Queen—in a normal SeaWing's view-, but for Leopard, she used to be nice.

Leopard stood up, tucking her wings massive wings down. She turned to see the SandWing standing over the two unconscious guards. Well, that SandWing has got the strength. He's also smart—one to think things through.

The SandWing rushed towards her. He glided over, and stopped in front of her. "Are you okay?" He asked.

Leopard snorted. "I should be the one asking if someone's okay. But yes, I'm fine. Just a scratch on my ear. Are you alright, SandWing?"

The dragon scowled at the title "SandWing." "I have a name, you know," he said. "It's Sobek. And "yes, I'm fine."" He quoted her.

"Nice one," Leopard said, laughing on the inside. "Ready to go back?"

"Yeah," he said quickly. "But I have a question for you—are you a royal SeaWing like Quill?"

They took off, their wings pumping against the wind, who refused to let them have an easy flight. "Well," Leopard said, thinking. It had been years since she'd had anyone to talk to, and even though on the outside, she acted like she wasn't interested, she was dying to talk. She stared into Sobek's eyes, and felt she could trust him. "I am."

"I see."

Leopard turned to him, an evil smile on her face. "Now, I have a question for you. How old are you, Sobek? Do you know the others?"

He turned to her, his yellow eyes twinkling. It reminded her of Whapuku, her father, someone that had loved her and cared for her forever. He always had that sparkle in his eyes—a happy, joyful, sparkle. Leopard had thought that look was one-of-a-kind, but maybe she was wrong, maybe only some of the best dragons in Scorching could have that look.

"Maybe a year younger than you," he said. "You look 7ish... I hope I'm right... I'm 6. I don't know how old you really are, and I don't want to keep guessing in case you go all SkyWing on me. But Quill is definitely not the youngest. He's- hmm. The second oldest? Maybe 5? Crimson, is the third oldest, and Mango is the youngest."
