Chapter 10- The Break Up

Katt's POV

The sweatpants and shirt that Karen gave me were both too big, but after lots of tying and waste band rolling, we got them to stay on.

Karen walked me downstairs to the giant kitchen. It had marble counters, mahogany cabinets, and stainless steal appliances. She made me a cup of hot chocolate.

"Thank you." I said, more confidently.

"Do you want to talk about it or...?" Karen asked unsure.

"Yeah. I think it will help me get over it." I said.

"Okay dear, start wherever you like."

"I guess Ill start from the beginning." I said sighing. I then proceeded to tell her about my past. About my parents and brother, about Sienna and about most importantly Luke. I told her about the ice water and my 'room'. I even told her about my bathroom incident the other day.

By the time I was done I had cried, screamed, and hugged Karen many times. To say she was shocked was an understatement.

"Oh, goodness child, you're so strong. I was never that bad. You're a true fighter." she said, smiling.

"Thank you." I said. "Thanks for listening, but I should really get going, I-"

"Get going?" asked the husky voice of Mr. Hun- I mean Zack. "Angel, your not going anywhere." he said.

WHAT.

"Yes, I was thinking the same thing." Karen said. "Katt, how would you like to join our pack?"

"Really?" I asked excited. I might have a new pack, a new family.

"Really." Zack said.

"Yes! Id love to!" I said, happy for the first time in, well, forever.

"That's great dear." said Karen. "Zack can show you to your room"

Zack's pov

I looked at Katt's nervous features and gave her a reassuring smile. She got up and walked to my side, before following me upstairs.

"Hey Katt, what's your favorite color?" I asked.

Her eyes lit up. "Blue." she said.

I walked to the third floor and opened the third door on my right. Katt gasped.

The room had mahogany floors and royal blue walls with a white trim and ceiling. The bed was a queen and had a royal blue and white pattern on it, with whit sheets. The head board was mahogany and there was a royal blue couch at the foot of the bed in front of a giant flat screen TV. It had an en suite bathroom and walk in closet. Katt turned to me.

"Thank you so much." she said, before running and face planting on the bed, before rolling over and cocooning herself in the comforter. I shook my head and left, closing the door behind me.

How someone could hurt Katt was beyond me.

Luke pov

I walked up the stairs of Kyle's pack house to Alice's room.

I opened the door. "Alice we need to-" and then she attacked me, sucking off my face. It felt as if she was a dementor, and I was some innocent wizard. At one point I may have enjoyed the feeling (why I don't know) but now all it did was disgust me.

I through her off of me and on to the bed. I wiped off my face.

"Stop Alice we need to talk." I said.

"No, we don't."

"YES, we do."

"Fine, what is it?" she snapped.

"Alice, I'm breaking up with you." I said

"For who?" she sneered. "That pathetic mate of yours?"

"She is your future Luna and you will respect her!" I said, turning to leave.

"Just watch Luke! When you see how worthless she is you'll come crawling back to me." That's all I heard before I slammed the door.
