I bounced around the TARDIS in excitement. "I can't believe one of my best friends is getting married! Oh my god, it's seems like it was only yesterday when we used to play pretend wedding when we were five." I laughed.

"You did that too!" Amy exclaimed happily. "I used to have Rory dress up as a groom."

Rory rolled his eyes. "Yeah, and you made me dress up as the Doctor on more than one occasion when we were little."

Amy immediately shut up while I laughed at her. "Oh yeah! I remember you telling me that!"

"Drop it." Amy warned.

I backed off and waltzed over to the Doctor who had just landed the ship.

"Well we're here. Good old Salem." The Doctor wrapped an arm around my waist and guided me to the door. The four of us stepped outside only to frown at where we had landed.

"Err, Doctor, I'm pretty sure you have the wrong state. Right country, right time period, but wrong state." I said watching hundreds of people and cars race past each other in the usual New York City bustle.

The Doctor frowned. "Aw, I did it again!"

Amy and Rory looked around in awe. "Hey, Claire I know we have your friend's wedding to go to, but can we please look around New York first? I've always wanted to visit this place." Amy pleaded.

"Yeah it's fine, we have a time machine anyways." I shrugged.

"Ooh, what's that?" The Doctor tugged me along with him to a small table with many different odds and ends laid about on it.

"Looks like a load of junk to me." Amy muttered eyeing the contents on the table with disgust.

"Yeah Doctor, they're just overpriced items marketers will try to sell you." I said in a low tone of voice, hoping the owner of the table didn't hear us.

"Don't worry I'm not going to buy anything." He muttered. "Ooh!" He picked up a book with a woman with huge boobs on the front blowing on a gun. I raised an eyebrow at him in disapproval. He frowned down at the book before turning it over and reading the back. His eyebrows rose in interest before flipping to the front page of the book. His eyes widened before closing the book.

"What is it? Accidentally stumble upon a raunchy novel?" I asked jokingly.

"No, it's a mystery book. Which I'm going read." He said tucking the book under his arm.

"I thought you said you weren't going to buy anything."

"I'm not." He said walking off with the book without paying.

I gasped at his behavior and ran after him. Luckily, the street marketer didn't notice him take it.

"Are you out of your mind?" I asked falling into step with him. "You can't just steal something like that."

"Well I'm going to return it as soon as I'm done reading it." He winked, lacing his fingers through mine.

I rolled my eyes at him as the two of us strolled through the city, the Ponds following close behind us.

"New York growled at my window, but I was ready for it." The Doctor read aloud. The four of us were seated comfortably on the large rock located in Yellow Stone National Park. My head rested in the Doctor's lap as I watched the clouds and listened to the Doctor read aloud. "My stocking seams were straight, my lipstick was combat ready, and I was packing cleavage that could fell an ox at twenty feet."
