Hey guys it's Kenna, the picture I tag on this chapter is Evan. Anyway! I hope you like this chapter!!
"Sweetie I am so proud of you!" My mother squealed as I walked out of my room, with the dress on. It was a black bodice with a little sparkle to it, and the skirt was ruby color, the dress was a high low dress which is what a lot of people were against but my mother wanted me to be bold. Tonight is homecoming and my town takes it to a whole new level.
" Thanks mom, can I have the shoes?" I asked pointing at the black strap heels behind her. My mom nodded, and handed me the shoes.
" Don't put them on yet, let me do your hair and makeup." My mom and I went to her vanity and I sat as she painted my eyes and lips, and created soft curls in my hair. My lips were painted red, and my eyeshadow was smoky.
" Thank you mom, I love it." I said. I admired her work, looking at myself in the mirror, and then I looked at her, even though she is only 29 has a few wrinkles, its because of the stress. Her job is so important and she's been working so hard. She was still beautiful, I was lucky to inherit her sparkling brown eyes, and her full lips. Her long brown hair was always pulled back, and she always wore classy clothes, very modest but attractive. I looked up to my mother, she was my hero.
" I know, now get your shoes on and let's get you to that dance." My mom helped me with my shoes and we went to the car. We drove listening to music and singing along to the cheesy love songs. My moms phone started to ring so I quickly turned down Mine by Taylor Swift off as she answered it.
" Clark." she said to the person on the other line. " Yes sir, Will do sir, I'm on my way sir." She said and hung up the phone, just as we parked at the school.
" You have another case?" I asked knowing she would have to be away.
" No, just a follow up I need to check on, I will be gone three days tops." She smiled and kissed my forehead. " I love you Amy." She smiled.
" I love you too mom." I smiled and got out of the car and was instantly on a road, in the middle of nowhere. I saw a warehouse though, I walked up to it still in the dress. I saw my mother and she was holding her gun up at a man with a scar across his face... A gunshot went off and my mother collapsed to the floor, blood was everywhere. I was in a white room all of a sudden it had no doors or windows.
" Hello, anyone!" I screamed, I felt something hit my head and I looked up to see that blood had seeped through the ceiling. Soon blood seeped down the walls and the room was filling up like a bathtub, but with a red liquid, I was drenched in blood and I couldn't breath.
My eyes shot open and I sat up breathing heavy, I looked at my clock and it was 2:30 AM. I groaned and rolled out of my bed. I stumbled out of my room and into the hall to get a drink of water but I heard voices in James room. I froze in place looking back at his door. I slowly walked up to the door and listend holding my breath.
"We know you didn't sign up for this, but it's the truth and we are trying to find him, he has bad blood with us too." That voice... It belonged to someone I knew....
" But Amy won't be apart of this? She won't get hurt... Right?" James asked, I heard a male voice chuckle.
" You're just like her, but yeah she will be safe." I knew this voice, it was Evan.
" What do you know about her?" James asked raising his voice
" I gave her ride tonight, earlier today she got up in my face and said if you get hurt she is gonna track me down and personally kill me." Evan said in amusement.
