Chap. 11: A Chance

Taehyung: So she just left?

Jungkook: Mad?

I nod, "I guess...I wasn't about to let her see James and let our schemes go to waste."

Taehyung: Why not? Wendy would've dumped James, and you would get the chance to date her.

"No I wouldn't. I want James to pay for everything!" I exclaimed.

Jungkook: But you would've gotten the chance to date, Wendy.

I scoffed, "Guys that's not the point!" I told them, "I mean, yeah that would be great but James would've gotten away with it. I just know it. Which is why I forbid her to see."

Jungkook: You make a good point.

Taehyung: Anyways, why didn't you kiss her?

My cheeks felt warm just remembering how close she was to me.

Jungkook: Someone's blushing~

I chuckled and pushed him playfully, "Shut up. You know how I feel about her."

They laughed and teased me, Taehyung pinched my cheek as I flashed a very cheesy smile.

Jade: About who?

Taehyung gasped and stopped what he was doing, I locked eyes with Jade.

She smiled.

The guys and I instantly became awkward as soon as she sat with us in the fast food restaurant.

Jade noticed we were acting strange.

Jade: What's wrong with you guys? You look like you're constipated.

Jungkook: Was that the bell?

Taehyung: We're in a restaurant, dumb dumb.

Jungkook: Damn I gotta go, bye! *runs*

He's always scared around girls. But why around Jade?

Oh wait.

Jade's hot, that's why.

She's rare to find. That's for sure.

A hot nerdy hipster. Pretty cool huh? If I wasn't in love with Wendy, I'd so go for Jade, but even so I probably wouldn't have a chance.

There's no doubt I'm not her type, I'm sure she wants a guy just as smart and independent as her.

I am in no way smart. Independent? Maybe.

Everything else, I don't know. I know I'm good looking, I know I can persuade her if I tried, and I know she thinks I'm attractive, but even so, it's just Jade.

Jade: Jimin, I heard you got a job at Meis Container. How?

"I raided the place and forced the boss to higher me." I answered bluntly.

Her eyes widen, she looked at Taehyung.

Jade: Is that true?

I looked at Taehyung and hoped he'd play along.

Taehyung: Of course. Everyone respects Jimin now.

I smirked and looked back at her.

Jade: Liar, I bet your mom got you the job.

"Why don't you ever believe me?" I asked.

Jade: Please, I'm smarter than that.

Taehyung: Bet you don't know what 2+2 is!

Jade: 4. Are you mentally challenged?

"Taehyung is just... awkward sometimes.." I said.
