-Jimin POV-
Jade didn't answer my messages since the argument we had until this morning. She told me to meet her at the local park, alone. She specifically asked me not to tell anyone where I was going and that's what I did.
I told my mom I was going out for a walk.
If anyone knows that I'm meeting with Jade, they'll probably suspect me as well.
Ever since the bomb went off at school, everyone has been pointing fingers.
Unfortunately, everyone thinks Jade has something to do with it. Which blew me way off guard.
Apparently she was the last one seen leaving the room where the bomb was, before it went off.
Everyone has been giving her and her family a hard time. I had no idea her parents were investigators, it could explain why Jade hasn't been called down to the police station for questioning.
It could also explain why she was worried that TheGame would expose her. Is there more secrets?
People think just because her parents are behind this investigation, they're protecting her since she's their daughter.
Though I'm sure that's not the case.
The discovery was a shock to me and my friends, I can't deny that but I know Jade. It must've been a coincidence. Why would she set up a bomb?
Who knows, but I'm glad she messaged me and asked to meet with me, it shows she trusts me and that means a lot.
"Jimin." Jade called.
I got up from the bench where I was sitting and locked eyes with Jade.
She wore a long black coat and her hair was neatly tied to a high ponytail, her quirky glasses were fogged up a little due to the cold weather today.
She looks so cute. I can't help myself but want nothing more than to stand by her side no matter what.
"Jade, hey." I said.
Jade smiled faintly, "Thanks for meeting with me."
"Of course, I've been really worried about you." I said and took a step forward.
She took a step back, "Don't come any closer Jimin." She said.
I stopped in my tracks.
Her eyes were filled with sadness, she didn't need to say anything.
I just want to know one thing.
"What's bothering you?" I asked.
As if I didn't know already.
Jade sighed and sat on the bench with her hands in her pockets. I sat beside her but not too close.
Jade took a few moments to think and took a deep breath, "I did not set off that bomb." She said.
I looked at her, "I know you didn't."
Her eyes met mine, "But everyone else thinks I did."
