ARDRAIN'S POV
I was looking down at the ground when Amorette replied to my question. I t stung a little that she didn't trust me enough to tell the whole story.
"I'm Adrain." I said back just as harsh. She nodded her head before turning around to face Amy.
"How much does he know?" Amorette asked.
"As much as I do. You can trust him." Amy replies.
"Fine. Well I better go to Halloween Town and have Sand fix me up before David knows." Amorette said as she started to get up from her spot to grab her crutches.
"Why didn't you call him? At least call Sandy to explain why." Amy said.
"NO! You call him. I don't want to." Amorette shouted and stopped what she was doing.
"Fine. What do you want me to say?" Amy asked Amorette. It was weird that she wouldn't even call him.
"Just say I need Sandy's help and that it will only take a couple of minutes." Amorette replied, sitting on the bed once again.
"Why don't you talk to him?" I asked her. She snapped her head back so fast I thought she would get whip lash.
"I already said why." Amorette said through clenched teeth, her fists clenched and unclenched. Maybe I should have been smart and kept quite. I thought to my stupid self.
AMATOR'S POV
I ran home. What did I do? I pulled open the door and ran to my bedroom upstairs. My father is a noble so we have a huge house, but not as big as Amorette's. I cried into my pillow; how was I able to do that to her?! She was my soul mate, yet I keep hurting her. Does she even know that we are mates? I don't mean mates like werewolves and vampires, but soul mates. She should know her dad is in charge of the 2 halves finding each other and rumor has it he is the one to divide them in half to know who are soul mates.
DAVID'S POV
"Why am I so stupid!?" I asked my mom. My head in my hands, I can't believe what I did.
"You were just doing what you thought was right, and trying to protect her. You didn't know that this the only place she is truly safe from Amator, her parents, and everyone in Valentines Town." said my mom, trying to comfort me. When she said that I felt even worse, how was I to know that everyone in Valentines Town was jealous of her and wanted to hurt her?
"I did, she always said that this her home, that this was the one place she felt save. I didn't know that this literally the only place safe for her and her home." I answered. I felt so guilty when Amorette left. I went out to find her, but she already left. All of a sudden my phone went off. I picked it up and saw the caller ID, it was Amy. I had no doubt that she was calling to yell at me.
"Hi Amy." I say in a tired voice.
"Get Sally over here now! Amorette was hurt... badly." Amy yelled into the phone trying to be heard. i could hear Amorette yelling at someone in the back around.
"What happened?" I asked quickly into the phone.
