DAVID'S POV (REWIND TO THE RIDE TO TEXAS)

"Why does he live all the way out here?" Adrain asks for the thousandth time. Amorette looks over at him, her blue eyes starting to turn a dark shade.

"Be away from my dad! Is that so hard to grasp?" She snapps at him. Adrain leans back a little as if to get away from her. Amorette's eyes soften as if regretting snapping at him. Well that is what he gets when he asks the same question more than twice.

Amorette waves her hand up to tell us to get ready to leave soon. We quickly get off and follow Amorette down a couple of the blocks.

"Why do you keep bugging her?" I hear Amy ask Adrian behind me.

"I don't mean to, what am I dowing wrong?"

"Talking." After that they both remianed silent. Amorette stops at a one story house that has grey paint on the outside with blue shutters surounding the windows and a stained glass door. Amorette walks the last few steps up to the door and push the door bell that let's out the sound of a scream.

Hmm, that sounds like the same one I have at home. I thought just as the door ups to show a pale skined, light, almost orange, red haired man. His blue eyes are exactly like Amorette's.

"Amorette!" He yells before engulfing her in a hug. She buries her body into his, forgetting about her crutches and injuried arm.

"What are you doing here? Who are your friends?" He asks while ushering us inside his house. He brings us to a modern style living room and kitchen.

"Are you guys hungery? Do you want anything?" He asks as he runs around picking up loose objects.

"Jasper, these are my friends. Amy from Valentines town, Adrain her normal cousin, and David from Halloween town." Amorette introduces us to her uncle. Amy and Adrin stand there uncomforable before taking a seat on a grey love seat.

"Are you sure David is from Halloween town?" Jasper asks as he stares at me. Amorette turns around and motions her hand downwards. What? Oh.  I drop my boy image, having forgotten that it was up.

"Oh."

"I have something to ask you." Amorette says she sits on the grey couch.

"Ask away." Jasper answers, but Amorette's eyes are starting to drop. You could tell she was tired and it didn't help that she was injuried. Her eyelids start to flutter, showing her need to sleep. I nudge her arm to try to gently wake her up.
