"What is it that you wanted to tell me?" I ask David as Sally works on my arm. Amator soon left after David caught me. Luckly Amy wasn't badly hurt and managed to get out by walking down the stairs. I was so scared that I might have lost my best friend. A small shudder runs though me at the thought of it.

"Oh, umm do you remember how I told you all skeletons have a deadie?" David asks me. I nod my head yes. He told me right after he kissed me, how could I forget? That was my first kiss.

"Well, when I said I'm not sure if you are my deadie I kinda lied. You are, I just wasn't sure how you would react." David says, waiting for my reaction. I stare into his eye sockets and try to decide if I am happy that I am his deadie or angery that he lied to me.

"I need to go see my uncle." is the only thing I manage to get out. David looks confused before answering.

"My dad isn't home, you know that."

"She might her dad's brother." Amy explains as she walks into the living room with an ice pack now on her head. Adrian enters the room behind her and stares at me. That guy freaks me out a little; I don't know him, yet I can't help but like him.  I probally just hit my head when I jumped or something.

"Okay, where does he live?" David says. Most people don't know that I have an uncle because when my dad was younger he hated him so he cut out of the picture. My dad would try to lock him out of Holiday State, break his arrows, and also ruined the relationships he made. Now do you see why I dislike my dad so much?

"He lives in the normal world." My uncle, Jasper, is now responsible for soul mates. He is the one cuts the soul into halves and gives my dad hints to who they are. My dad hates him even more because he has to ask him for help. Revenage is a strange thing.

"Why does he live there?" Adrian asks.

"I don't know, but him and my dad hate each other so that is probally why." I answer in a light tone, but everyone can still feel the tension in the air. Urg, I forgot it's forbidden to speak of Jasper. Stupid, idoit dad.

"Can we get going?" I ask. Sally finishs wrapping up my arm and helps me stand up while Amy goes and gets my crutches.  We quickly leave and head for doorway to the human world. I can't believe it has only been two days, a lot has happened.

The sign on our right says "Welcome to Austin Texas" as we pass the border line. We took a night bus from Colorado to Texas hoping it will harder to track. My father will be furios if he finds out.

"Why does he live all the way out here?" Adrain asks me for the hundrenth time.

"To be away from my dad! Is that so hard to grasp?" I ask him harshly. I have a bad feeling about going and seeing my uncle, but it is the only way I can know for sure that David isn't lying to me. I need to ask him who is my soul mate.

Adrain remains quite for the last half hour of the ride making me regret snapping at him. He was there to help me when I was injured. I let out a sigh and signal for the other to get ready to get off. We quickly exit the bus and walk down three blocks before making a right and stopping at the fourth house on the street.

The house is a one story home with gray on the outside and a light blue on the shutters with a stained glass front door. I walk up and ring the door bell that let's out a scream in the house. My uncle and I like common things, for example Halloween. This is yet another reason why my dad hates him.

I wait for the door to open and allow me to see Jasper. A man with light red hair, blue eyes, and pale skin opens the door.

"Amorette!" Jasper exclaims before he pulls me into a bone crushing hug. I bury myself in the hug, loving the feeling of being accepted.

"What are you doing here? Who are your friends?" He asks me as he ushers us inside, out of the cool February breeze. Jasper leads down a long hallway that is filled with pictures of the places he has been a few from when I was younger. We enter the modern style living room and kitchen.

"Are you guys hungery? Do you want to anything to drink?" He asks as he runs around trying to pick a few out of place items.

"Jasper, this are my friends. Amy from Valentines town, Adrain her normal cousin, and David from Halloween town." I introduce them. Jasper stares at David for a while.

"Are you sure he is from Halloween town?" He asks. I look back at David and realize he still has his boy image up. I wave my hand downward to try and so it's okay that he can drop it, as soon as he does Jasper let's out a little 'oh'.

"i have something to ask you."

"Ask away." He answers as I sit down on his couch. It's a big grey rectangle that look uncomfable, but it is surprisingly so soft I want to fall asleep.

"Amorette?" David asks as he nugdes me gently on my unijuried arm.

"Hmm? Oh yeah, David says that I am his deadie is it true?" I ask Jasper as he let's out a small chuckle.

"Let me go see, just give me a minute." He replies before disappearing from the room.

"Why is he going?" Amy asks.

"To the record room, there are over 6 billion people in the world it's kinda hard to remember all of them."

"Oh."

"Here it is." Jasper exclaims as he enters the room once again. He passes me the folder that has David's name on it and I open it. Inside it says his birthday, everything he likes and dislikes and who is his soul mate. I glance towards the bottom knowing where to find it. There in bold is my name.

"Looks like I am your deadie." I say as I smile up at David. David smiles down at me and takes my hand.

"Umm, Amorette you also need to look at yours. There is some kind of problem." Jasper says as he frowns and hands me mine. I open and look down to see THREE names down as my soul mate.

SOUL MATE: David Skellington, Amator Clark, and Adrain Palmer

My head snaps up. How could this be true? How can I have three soul mates? It's not possible.

"Amorette, what's wrong?" David asks me before he reads the bottom. "NO, it can't be true. You can't be soul mates with him, you... you can't be."

"Jasper what happened?" I ask my uncle who is in charge of my love.

"I don't know, you and David were suppose to be the only ones. Either both or one of them got lost and split got mixed in with another soul." He explains. I look down at the folder that tells me everything I ever need to know about myself and it's wrong. My furture is wrong.
