I held him
Like a shattered vase.
And with one gentle push.
He broke
Perished.

"I showed you the wonders in life.

I taught you that loving isn't painful.

I made sure you lived with no regrets.

I tried to show you the world.

And I let you know, countless of times,

That I was there for you.

Until death took you away."

"Hobi! Hobi!"

Hoseok chuckled as the small child made grabby hands at him, yelling out the nickname he came up with.

Carrying the child, Hoseok walked over to where he was headed, the small child silent as he watched the older male's face turn into a sad smile.

"Minnie, this is Jiminie, your Appa."

"Appa!" The young child yelled out.

Hoseok smiled, crouching down in front of the grave and set the small child down.

"Happy twenty fifth birthday Jiminie."

"Appa!"

Hoseok chuckled as he held onto the small child, keeping him from crawling away from his reach.

"Minnie! J-minnie! J-minnie?!" The small child tried to pronounce.

"Jiminie." Hoseok sounded out.

"Jimi-nie?" Minnie pointed at himself. "Jiminie?" He pointed at the grave.

"You have Appas name."

"Jiminie!!" The little boy clapped, looking up at Hoseok with a smile.

Hoseok smiled back at the child, running his hands across the soft brown hair, feeling Minnie relax into the touch.

After a few moments of the two sitting like that, Minnie fell asleep to the touch of his dad caressing his hair.

Hoseok looked at the grave, a sad smile gracing his features.

"I got him two months ago." Hoseok whispered, referring to the sleeping child.

"I got to choose him, he was cute. He was the only one awake when I got there, it was nap time for the babies but he was wide awake. He made grabby hands at me and yelled 'Appa!!' The caretakers were shocked because he was so young and that was his first word. I smiled at him and that's when I got to see him smile and... He reminded me of you. His chubby cheeks and his crinkled eyes, almost disappeared. He didn't have a name yet, so I named him after you since I thought it would suit him better than Seokmin or Minseok." Hoseok looked at the sleeping form of the baby.

"He was a few months old, he's around ten months by now. He's a pain in the ass, but I love him... I think you would've worshipped him. He's so small, he's smart and he's also very playful." Hoseok looked at the sky, imagining a life with Jimin by his side, carrying the baby in his hands and smiling at it, playing with the small hands.

"I love him..." Hoseok whispered, still caressing the small head, eyes welling up with tears.

"I love him so much, especially when he smiles, it seems as if I'm looking at you as a baby. I m-miss you Jimin. I miss you so much."

Hoseok lowered his head, trying to wipe away his tears as he felt Minnie stir.

"Hobi?"

Small hands grabbed his big ones, holding them tightly as Minnie tried to move them. Hoseok looked at the child, smiling through his tears, small hands wiping his cheeks.

Hoseok hugged the small child, pecking his forehead as he cried silently.

"I love you Minnie, don't forget that."

"Hobi."

"I love you so much, just like Appa, he loves you too."

Small hands hugged his neck, making Hoseok hold his child close, never wanting to let him go.

"I love you Jiminie. Forever."
