Women and men are going in and out of the backstage trying to get the boys ready for soundcheck.

I sit and watch the chaos in front of me rise.

"Twenty minutes till soundcheck!" Someone I can't pinpoint , yelps.

The boys seem calm even with all the people going insane around them.

They must be really used to this.

"Jessica? Where's Jessica?" A mid-thirties women, with jeans and a sweater on asks around.

I stand up for who to notice me better,

"Here." I slightly raise my hand.

"Okay, you ready to go on?" Her voice shaky.

"Uhm, what?" I ask confused. I thought only the boys did soundcheck.

"You're not hooked up? Shit. Okay uhm.." She paces back and forth.

"You just won't go on then. We don't have time, I'm sorry." Worry striking her face and she quickly leaves the room.

I feel a bit relieved but annoyed at the same time.

No one told me I would be doing a soundcheck and no one bothered to tell me?

Niall glances at me while I sit back down roughly, and he pouts his lips. He quickly walks over to me,

"You okay, babe?" He asks sweetly. My heart flutters when he calls me babe. That's the first time he ever called me babe.

"Yeah, it's just they screwed up on my soundcheck that I didn't even know about, and now I can't do it." I whine.

"Five minutes boys! Common!" The same voice from before shouts.

"I'm so sorry Jess. I got to go, we'll talk more about this after." He tries to put on a smile and quickly kisses my cheek.

I nod unable to speak as he runs off to the stage.

"Hey! How's everyone?" I hear Harry yell at the crowd.

I feel like Niall does this on purpose. He knows how amazingly attractive he is, right? He could burp in my face, and I'd probably blush.

You don't like him Jessica.

You can't like him.

You won't like him.

To get my mind off of everything, I decide to go to the restroom and freshen up before the show.

I feel like a mouse in a maze trying to find the bathroom.

I look down every opening and door, but can't seem to find it.

I walk down this hall and take a right. A orange door was sitting at the end.

I decide to take a shot and open the door.

I swing it open and find myself staring at the stage.

This must be a secret entrance, I think to myself.

Fortunately no one notices me, but my feet won't move. I continue to watch their soundcheck.

They finish singing a song and decide to answer some questions.

"Who's got some questions?" Liam asks making the small crowd roar.

Hands everywhere raise and Harry steps forward looking like a teacher calling on someone.

"You." He points to a teenage girl with blonde hair wearing shorts and a pink blouse.

"Are you excited for your first concert in your Stadium Tour?" The words gargle out of her mouth, hard to understand by her sobbing.
