Reno was lying on the ground, helpless from the sinister man's scheme on what he'll do to him. Even though the little boy thought he had any hopes escaping from the man's clutches, there was no way to escape this unpredictable, malignant fate that stood in the doorstep of his eyes. Despite his crying, he frowned up at him. "Why did you choose to kill me like this father? Was it because I forgot to clean my room back at home or something? I'm sorry and I'll do it right when we get home!"
"... Not cleaning your room-"
"What about accidentally breaking that vase in your room?"
"Vase, what vase? You should be crying in fear by now! Why are you speaking of dumb reasons? Weren't you crying just a minute ago?"
"I was, but I just kinda found it not scary anymore. Sorry pops."
"You don't find it scary that you're about to die? I'm killing you because the Darkness knows that you're probably going to be chosen by the Light."
"I don't find it scary because you're laughing and I start laughing when others laugh."
"Now I see another reason why I'm gonna kill you.."
"Well that's mean..."
"Enough!"
Magnexe stomped his foot in front of the boy to flinch him and shut him up. He gave an irate glare at the boy since he was agitated by Reno's blind stubbornness. In the meantime, while Magnexe was grasping his hand on to the hilt of a sword hanging from his waist and pulling it from the sheathe, Reno just sat there, not knowing of what to do but watch him. As his executor pulled out his shining, sharp sword, the boy shivered by the dangerously sharp weapon that was held before him; he stuttered, "D-Don't you k-know it's not nice to play with sh-sharp things?"
Magnexe pointed the bladed tip to his soft chest and gave him a cold stare. "Don't you know that I'm killing you to delay their little 'Chosen One' event?"
"Honestly no I don't..."
"Very well... Any last words, little one?"
"Before I die, I wanted to say that I always wanted to fly like a bird someday!" He said with small tears rolling down his cheeks. The man gave a slight chuckle at his silly words. "You dream too much. Farewell!"
After those final words, he plunged the blade into his chest; blood was slowly leaking on to the sword. Reno didn't shout or grunt in pain from the stab that directed straight to his stomach. It seemed that his eyes just whited out, like fading away into pitch black. Even after the blade was pulled out from his stomach, he didn't make a sound or a gasp of air. He just limped forward and flopped on to the ground, facing it. It was over for him. He was dead. Afterwards, Magnexe sheathed his sword to where it belonged and left Reno there laying in the soft, wet, mush ground. "Puny," he said while setting out back towards the house. "Now where should we start with this?"
He searched into the house randomly, at first he didn't know what he should do now that he killed his only two sons and wife. He mused to himself long and hard as he sat down on a chair inside the house. His first thought: Bring the Darkness to the real world. This was the start of a global conquest of hell.

Back in the yard while his consciousness was fading away, Nox slowly began to snap back, into reality by opening his eyes, looking straight at the ground. However, why and how did he snap back to life? Nox's thoughts overflowed with encouragement for him to stand up and then there was a disturbance. A chilling breeze filled the air against his numb spine, which made him shiver his entire body. The rain was gone but the cold wind raged on. Nox struggled to keep his eyes open, but his strength was so weak from that fight even though it's been a while ago. 'Why am I still awake? I should be dead at this point,' he thought to himself. To think that he would still be alive from that brutal massacre of a fight was impossible. There was no chance he would've stayed alive from those fatal wounds, so who or what kept him from death. "Get up..." A faint voice called out alongside the bristle wind that lingered in his surroundings. The faint voice called his name again, "Go... Arise my son..."
Nox widened his eyes and feebly spoke, "M..Mother...?"
"Go... Save yourself..."
'Save? Oh no. Reno! Kitsune! If Magnexe was that powerful, who knows what he would do to those helpless children!' He thought to himself so negatively. He had to stand up and fast. His weapon was broken and his energy lost. How much more pain could he take? What if he ran into Magnexe again? This play was risky, but what choice did he have? Somehow but slowly gaining conscious again, Nox lifted himself up off the ground and coughed. With pain from his injuries, he grunted and limped up to his feet. "Grr... Ouch..." He was able to see clearly but it wasn't such a great view to see. He saw that the entire cottage was set on fire somehow. All of his belongings inside the home were burnt to ashes, including the surrounding area of the cottage. He couldn't believe what he just saw; it was an apocalyptic disaster! All of the things that he loved were gone all because of this unknown force that took control of his own member of his family. It wasn't truly his fault, but it was this "Darkness" force of energy. But the question still remains, what the heck is Magnexe going about this "Blood Moon" thing? Could this mean something big in the future? Whatever it could be, it's all up to Nox now. He was quiet yet determined to know more of the situation, so he looked down at his broken weapon and kneeled down to it. The weapon was entirely broken and with the tools he has, which are next to none, he wouldn't be able to fix it. He stood back up and walked closer to the burning house, which came in a limp because of his wounds. He heard no screams that came from the house. This probably means two things: either they have all been taken away by Magnexe or they died within this fire. No matter the option, they both still seem very fateful. Nox wasn't sure on what he should do now. He was lost, hurt, and hopeless, but this didn't mean he gave up yet. "If he's that strong, I have to go warn the city. If Magnexe destroyed this much already, he'll go for Strail City which is just nearby us!" If he thought was true, then it would be all over for him. He knew nowhere else to get help other than Strail City. It seemed like it was the end of a peaceful time and the beginning of a chaotic, cruel fate.

Meanwhile, a void of pitch black was the next thing that Magnexe could see. Pretty scary... It was just completely black. Nothing could be seen here obviously. Then out of nowhere in front of him, a small, blue flame lit up in front of him; the flame standing a bit larger than his body. He drew himself closer to the flame and turned his frown to a grin as he said, "It's me. I've come home to finish what we started long ago."
"Enter," said a bellowing voice that came from the blue flame, which actually the fire did say that.
He walked closer to the blue flame as it began to grow brighter and brighter with each step closer he took. The bellowing voice grew louder and louder as the two met each other. "We shall begin our project today."
"Project... When was the last time I made a project?" The male asked to himself, but the flames interrupted him, "Do not worry of that for now. To finish off the Light and end the war, we must create the ultimate weapon to end them all. Through the collection of souls, only then will we be able to win this. The greatest part of this plan is that no one knows about this, just you and me."
"Oh? So a top secret plan? I like it. But how are we gonna find souls?" This new yet mysterious man asked the flame. It seemed rather odd that a man would be talking to blue fire; in fact, it seemed unrealistic. The flame replied, "Simple. We must exterminate all that are oppositions to us. I will guide you on how we must do this."
So far a lot of conflicts has been happening over the past 3 hours and all seemed lost already. Or is it?
All there was that Reno could see was darkness, complete pitch black. He was dead. Even though he was a happy-go-lucky kid, his life had to be cut short by this odd force. But it was no use now since he's dead. However, moments later, a faint glow of a white light began emanating towards him and intensified gradually. He couldn't see the light; he couldn't see anything, just pitch black. He couldn't think and his body went numb on the outside and inside. The light covered his corpse and encased him in a whole room of blank white. It felt like a room with no gravity to hold him down since Reno's corpse was now lingering into the air with no sense of direction, nor sense of life rather. The white around the room began shining in a blinding light until there was nothing to see, especially his body. After that, it was all gone. After all that, it seemed like the card that decided fate has been played. The deal has been sealed. Magnexe wasn't who he was before anymore, but rather a being that nobody has ever seen before. A being with an exotic power that, without any notice, could wipe out an existence that everyone else saw fit. It may sound like this now but Magnexe has yet to unravel a dark secret about his new strength. However...
Trudging up many terrains, including forests and rocky banks that resided next to many rivers, the lost yet persistent survivor of the carnage pushed forward in this steep and dangerous environment. The rain didn't make this route a cakewalk since the earth is now wet, slippery mud, combined with sudden ditches and rapid streams that could take him to dangers he wouldn't want to think about as of now. Right now, he had better things to do such as rushing as quick as he could to get the word out to the nearby city for a warning of destruction. He had no time to stop now so he ran as much as he could despite his lungs giving up on him. The route was long but it was the only way to the civilization. He jumped over logs, ran past bushes, and slipped a few times as he advanced across the treacherous forest. Nox began to think about whose lives are on the line: thousands of innocent civilians that could potentially have a fate worse than death. This was only motivation for him to move with a stronger sense of urgency, so he kept going.
Strail City was a highly populated city with many tourists and industries conducted there. Many companies build their factories there to build products for nearby communities, which attracts many tourists who would eventually become employees at those productive industries. Even though it was a place of tourism and industry, Nox had to give out a warning somehow no matter what city. Nox had no time to lose; he didn't know what was ahead of him so he must warn the surrounding pedestrians to evacuate before anybody gets hurt. Then his thoughts trailed down to his two siblings, Reno and Kitsune. The whereabouts of these two innocent children are unknown; that fact scared Nox to thinking where are they and are they alive? All of these internal and external conflicts kept bugging at him from all sides, which was painful to him mentally. However, there was no time for complaints. Nox rushed off into the forest, all soaked and stained from the rain and mud, to do as much as he can to protect others. With Kitsune imprisoned and Reno disappeared, all hope seemed bleak for the time being. It will only take a miracle for all these problems to have a resolution. Speaking of miracles, while it may seem like too much to sink in now for Nox, little did he know about something greater and becoming of epic proportions was about to unfold in the near future. While the puzzle pieces are still connecting together to reveal the truth behind the cause of all of the catastrophe that has happened so far, it will become clearer and Nox will begin to see the miracles that will eventually save him as well. It was merely a beginning of something grand.
