He takes her to a restaurant, then the park.
All the while, he doesn't let her pay for anything or speak for herself.
At the park, she takes the opportunity to get away. She sneaks off while he isn't looking and finds a place underneath a tree to just sit and think.
After awhile, she realizes that she isn't alone.
