Chapter 16

Danny:

October 6, 2012(Day 26)

I woke up from the loud banging downstairs. "What the fuck" I mumbled. I hopped out of bed and stormed down the stairs. My father was on the floor of course.

It's a good thing I get good grades or A.C.S would have been coming over to my house years ago. I opened the front door.

Kim was standing in front of my door, I looked at her. "What are you doing here?" I asked. She smiled, "Nice packs," she said.

I looked down realizing I wasn't wearing a shirt. She bites her lip. "No wonder why she likes you," she said.

Does she mean Tina? "wait who?" I asked. "Get dress and we can talk all about it at the dinner," she said. I sighed, "I don't really feel like getting-"

"Okay, then I guess you don't really want to be with Tina" she interrupted. My eyes widen. "Who says I like Tina?" I stuttered. "Look, unlike you, I'm not stupid I know love when I see it"

"Now put on a shirt and let's go" she yelled, "Hold on," I said closing the door.

Tina:

My phone ringed, I answered it. "Hello," Hey Tee" I smiled. "Umm. Jake?" I asked, "Wait you have my number?" he asked. I giggled "Nope I just know your voice, plus your the only person who calls me Tee" I smiled.

"Oh," he chuckled. "Soo you doing anything today?" "Nope just a lonely Sunday," I said. "Good. I mean not that I was hoping. I mean, shit" he hollered I couldn't help but laugh.

"Where are you planning on asking me something?" I laughed. "Yeah do you want to hang out, you know has friends.." I put the phone to my chest.

I couldn't help but smile near Jake. Is it bad to develop feelings for your friend's boyfriend?

Well, Amy technically not my friend. I shook my head this is wrong.. I picked up the phone.

"Sure what time?"

"I'll pick you up in like an hour" I hung up the phone. I'm unbelievable.

I couldn't stop smiling and I honestly I don't know why. It's just Jake! I mean I know I use to have a crush on him but I'm so over it, Right?

There was a knock on my door. Jake was here. I opened the door. Jake looked so adorable and while he was standing there looking at me.

"You look great," Jake said. I smiled. "I just put anything on" I lied. "So what are we doing?" I asked. He put his hands in his front pockets.

"Hmm, the movies, " he said. "Isn't that basically a date," I asked. "Just relax I mean just as friends," he said. I nodded. "Yeah! friends" I smiled back. My phone started to ring. I looked at the caller ID it was Amy what the hell did she want. I ignored it and walked to the car.

Danny:

"Soo Tina likes me?" I said. Kim looked at me. "That's it!! No yelling, screaming or any type of excitement" she asked. I looked at her.

"I'm a guy we don't do that happy dance shit," I said. She shook her head. "I don't understand guys," she said.

Kim shook her head. "Are you going to ask out Tina?" she asked in excitement. I shrugged my shoulders.

Of course, I want to ask out Tina. It just what about Kiki. I can't just leave her like that. Wait? how do I know Tina really likes me. Her friends said so but did Tina confess to her? or is she just making assumptions?

Kim rolled her eyes. "Look, the whole bad boy thing!! needs to stop you think it makes you look tough. Well, it doesn't I see right through it and I know you're different when you're near Tina.." she said.

I stared at her in shock. "I guess you're trying to show the world that you don't care but I know.. I know you do" she pointed out.

I thought about what she said, she's right I do I care about Tina soo much. "I know it's hard for you to put your feelings out there and the rejection.

"Who said she's going to reject me" I yelled. Kim jumped in fear. She cleared her throat.

"Look, I'm sorry I just really care about Tina and I don't know how to show her" I confessed.

She looked at me with a tiny smile. She placed her hands on top of mine and looked at me.

"Just tell her," she said. "I don't even know what to say" I pointed out. "Just say how you feel," she said. "Call her do it do it now," Kim said hitting me on my shoulders.

"Alright, Alright," I said dialing. The phone ringed and she answered on the third ring. "Hello," Tina answered laughing. "Hey it's Danny," I said.

"Duh, I have caller ID," she said laughing louder. "Who's that?" A male voice said. I balled my hands. "Who that?" I asked.

Tina continued laughing. Is she drunk she sounded drunk? Why was she drunk? "TINA!!! Who are you with" I yelled?

Kim stared at me with a worried look on her face. "Ohh it's the boyfriend" the male voice laughed. "Don't worry I'm taking care of her" he laughed.

"Tina! are you drunk?" I asked. They both laughed. "Only like two drinks I swear" Tina laughed. "Don't worry the Jakester has her bye!" the male voice said.

The call ended and I put my phone on the table. Kim stared at me, "what the firetruck just happened?" she asked. I put my phone in my pocket and stare at the table.

"She's out with another guy" I mumbled. "What?" She asked. "She's out with another fucking guy" I yelled.

Kim looked at me in disbelief. "That's ridiculous Tina nuts for you," she said. "You think I'm fucking stupid I heard another guy in the background"I yelled at her. Everyone in the bar turned their heads to face us. "Who?" she asked.

"How the fuck am I suppose to know?" She rolled her eyes. "Well, what the heck did he say," she said getting annoyed. I thought about it...

"Jakester," I said. Kim looked at me. "Jake, him and Amy just broke up," Kim said. "He's going to sleep with Tina to get back at Amy" I yelled.

Kim grabbed her purse and placed twenty dollars on the table. "Where are you going?" I asked. "Getting you your girl," Kim said leaving. I jumped up and ran after her.
